Dont be emotional...being emotional can be bad, since it is from the heart...and the word of God says the heart can be decieving...but it doesnt mean avoid your heart at all times...you must worship God with all your mind, soul, heart, and strength (meaning physically)...so live in God with everything...and faith is about trusting in the Lord with all your heart...and not trusting in your own understanding..and acknowledging him in all your ways..and letting God to direct the path...hopefully your questions have been answered...peace and God bless....

Our faith in God is not about how smart we are, or how emotional we are. It's about our personal relationship with Christ~ If we think we are smart because we can quote scripture, God cannot even see that we can do it. He only looks at the heart~

If it were me I would prefer you to be emotional. Emotional people will follow you anywhere. Intellectual people are old grump grumps who argue everything. The question is which would you rather be?

the reason for the Lord's church grew to become into to hold human beings jointly in cohesion and answer complicated questions. there is lots solid human beings can do beside merely be solid. LDS and different religious and non religious communities have a suitable humanitarian provider. The e book of Mormon human beings prospered and grew to become quite wealthy whilst they have been obedient, yet they grew to become proud of their riches and quickly lost their perception. there have been damaging wars subsequently. Humility, obedience, riches, proud, forgetting, and war. It grew to become right into a curler coaster all interior the path of the e book of Mormon. The Lord does not techniques riches in the event that they're used for the nicely suited purpose.

You got it. No religion can stand up to logic and intellect.
Even attempts to apply logic or intellect are based on assuming the conclusion first and picking and choosing facts to fit.
Basically, the emotion that propels all religions is fear - and that's a pretty primal emotion. Tough to suppress, let alone abandon.

He doesn't want anything. But religion certainly wants you to be emotional rather than logical.
