and i asked him what he things of me, he txt back and said he cant now for certain reasons. also he said he hopes it doesnt stop us from being friends for now. what does he mean?

Well obviously it depends on the CERTAIN REASONS. It could that he:
*likes someone else
*doesn't think you are cute
*already has his eyes on some other girl
*he doesn't want a relationship
*doesn't see you as a GF
But he still wants to be friends

Well, you gave him a clear opening and he didn't take it. But he made an effort to point out that he values your friendship. If you can handle being firends without obsessing over his feelings for you great! Sounds like you've got a good friend, and that is not a small thing. If you can't handle it, you're in for a rough road. But you don't have to wonder. Right now, he is not interested in a dating relationship with you.

It could mean a million things, instead of worrying about it or asking us -ask him. Don't try and read too much into a message like this, you'll ruin the relationship before it even starts.

He can't be forthright with the truth...he uses doublespeak, so unless you are into guessing what someone is up to, maybe distance yourself from him. Friends is ok, but friends are usually upfront with each other and he is having a hard time with that.

Don't get hook on him. Look around you, there are lots of guys out there for you. So play it very Cool. Don't be in a rush & have fun. Be safe & do what's best for U. Don't look for love .Love will find U. You have a hold life ahead of U .
