Yes, it will. There should be a option that has something to do with 'key'. Change it to b flat (if you are wanting to tune a trumpet) and you should be alright. Just change the key to the key of your instrument.

Yes, if the tuner has flats or sharps (not all do). Otherwise you would have to tune to a flat or sharp note on your trumpet. Either way it could work.
