I don't.

The Hitachi electron microscope I work with at times, sits on a 24 ton anti-vibration mount and is rather unwieldy to cart around always. It will also make taking a shower a mite difficult.
I do have a portable telescope that I lug out whenever the suspended particulate matter contamination and the rather bright night lights of this 10 million population city permit a glimpse of the sky.
There is an assortment of electronic measuring instruments, which do not make the grade as hypocrisy spotters.

I do not believe (naturally, being a non-believer) that Believers (of any faith) are hypocrites. Or do you want an exception to be made?

Even by using the word "nonbeliever," you're implying that you are better than those of us who are not Christian. Many Christians do use themselves as examples to "nonbelievers," tell us that we need to change our religion or leave our community or dump our partners or change our lives, etc. They want to alter laws to suit them, at the expense of non-Christians. Therefore, it's worth it for us to examine whether Christians themselves can live up to the codes they try to inflict onto the rest of us.

Bottom line: less preaching and less time on your high horse means more people will put their "microscopes" away.

Since I am an atheist and do not own, let alone carry around a microscope, your odd assumption would be wrong.

I guess you mean that metaphorically... It's to see things more clearly, to see the details of how they work. We will not take the word of a cultural phenomenon that just happens to be common in this time&place. We want evidence, not mythology. That is how things can be understood.

People do not; however, if they did it would be better than carrying around some silly fairy-tale book called the bible

I don't need a microscope for that.

My eyes suffice.
