Are you asking which guitar sold at Target is best? If that is your question, then the answer is none. Go to www.musiciansfriend.com and look at starter packs. Now if you are saying you want to be a musician that works AT Target...then i dont know!

If you mean to get a guitar at target, then I'd have to say that their guitars are decent if you're just starting out. I'm still learning and I have a guitar from target, it's a lion acoustic. It's pretty good quality and it's durable. I've probably bumped it into things and dropped it on accident many times and it hasn't gotten scratched yet. The little lesson CD-ROM it comes with isn't that good, so you should go out to a guitar shop and get a good guitar book.
I don't know if you want an electric or an acoustic, but the only thing I know is that acoustic strings are way harder to press down, and you'll get good finger strength, so if you do play an electric later it'll be easier for you. Electrics are easier to push the strings down and you can alter the sound quite easily. Hope this helps!

Walk into any guitar shop and buy a Fender Squire. This my friend is the most perfect guitar to start on!
