I just found a weird looking bug on my cat. It is not a flea or tick, I have seen these before. It is shaped like rice but smaller, furry, slow moving. It looks like its head is red and tali is black and the middle is beige.
I had seen a flash of a bug crawl to the top of her fur the other day and immediatly assumed fleas and treated her with the drops on neck. I just brushed her and 4 of these bugs have fallen off of her. I have looked every where on the internet and cannot find a picture of this bug. HELP!

Looking all over the internet the only thing I can find that resembles the bug is a Pantry Beetle.
Has anyone ever heard of them being on animals?

These could be engorged ticks or even parts broken off from a tape worm . I would call your vet and get a good worm medicine and keep her brushed often. Always keep flea drops on your cat if she goes outside.

I know that is a worm. You need to take that kitty to the vet and if you cant afford it right now, give your kitty a good bath in some flea and tick stuff.Pay attention to your kitty and the areas it's going, that could be where it got the worm on it.

go to your local vet,and ask him about it.save the bugs in a jar,and take them with you to.maybe you could even send the bugs to a lab,so that they can check to see what it is,and where it came from.you can also put pics on the internet to see if anyone knows what it is.

It's probably a pupae of something. I would call the vet. They may be able to tell you what to do without having to bring her in.

that's a flea, and the place there is one, there is greater. The vet provide you with some flea drugs. this is that factor of year, fleas are looking for for a heat iciness homestead, do no longer permit this is yours.
