It seems that some users think so. I don't. I just like to give my view and see where it leads. What do you think?

Clarification is never a problem, it only gets to be a problem when people follow up their questions with long speeches intent on convincing or converting the answerer to their point of view without even reading responses.

Don't worry, most everyone clarifies or adds to their questions, partly because the amount of space Yahoo gives you ain't exactly generous.

I think the users that say your on your soapbox arent intelligent enough to give an educated answer to your question. Its easier for them to put you down than to actually use a brain cell or two and give a response to what I believe are great questions, and once again I will say that you make us think outside the box, so bravo !! Keep "em coming, there great !!!

Ranting is generally considered being on your soapbox, but it doesn't always mean you get the attention you deserve. If you can give a good consistent opinion based on facts and leaving space for people to ask questions and give critics, you can be on the soapbox or just giving your opinion, your view, based on your experiences.

I haven't seen any of your questions, but if you put a view across, then it no longer becomes a question. Just you broadcasting your opinion. It's called leading the answerer.

So the best answer you can hope to achieve is:

Yes

Why don't you ask a question about something you don't know or have no opinion on, after all, this is the purpose of this site.

If someone doesn't like your opinion, they automatically accuse you of getting on a soapbox. It's easier than them actually rebutting your opinion with a valid argument.

I don't know. You're questions and answers are hidden, so there's no way for me to see just what the evidence against you actually is.

Are you asking me to judge your actions without looking at the evidence? That kind of trial could go very well or very poorly for you.......

I get on soapboxes and give details. If we do, certainly everyone does from time to time. You're free to do as you please here, with some restrictions we do need. Thanks for your thought-provoking questions. You do fire my engines! Just delightful!
