Girls are like apples on trees.
The best ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys dont want to reach for the good ones
because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they get the rotten apples
from the ground that arent as good, but easy.
So the apples up top think something wrong with them
when in reality they're amazing.
they just have to wait for the right boy to come along,
the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top

New answer after seeing your details: OK, I get your point. But you can see it from another perspective. Most boys are "brave" these days. So, all the boys climb to the top but there is not so much space so they all fall and hurt themselves. Wouldn't it be better if they just stopped being so greedy and just be happy with the ones on the ground? Losers!

I'm sure this isn't true. But many boys are intimidated by a pretty girl, woman.

And throw in some brains and they are all like afraid because boys and men have this belief that they are the best, stronger, better. They don't like to lose to girls, this is only my life observations.

But its not the quantity its the quality of people you allow in your life that counts, choose friends wisely, many will say they are your friend without really understanding what friendship really is, this is why we say when something bad happens "you really know who your friends are" because they will not try to avoid you because of a rumor, they will offer support in times of need and so forth that is so much more important than just a boy friend. most of the time.. because i attract the wrong type of guys (ugly, uneducated, no morals, CHEATERS, go for looks-only type guys) and the nice and decent guys when they see a pretty girl they assume I must already have a boyfriend, or that I must be heart-breaker, or that i might be too good for them, or they're just intimidated, or they're too old (in their 30's). I have a bf right now I feel like im not good enough for hm sometimes, he talked about other girls and their ***, i have a lil shape to me but not WAY too much, im petite, i just cant find a guy that will love me for ME, not for how i look, and NOT how they would LIKE for me to look (refering to butt, breast size).

BTW I would rather take an intimidated guy over a guy thats too quick to come to me and "ask for my number." That just says alot about how the more intimidatd guy is. The quick guy seems more the type that just wants sex, or a pretty girl to show off. Until he sees someone else that he thinks looks better.

Yes it is true that most pretty girls get the less dates. And one of the reasons why. Most guy's, Don't ask them out is. Guy's don't want to be rejected by a beautiful girl. (They have an Image to keep up as well.) I've talked to a few pretty girls about this subject last year. The answers I got would blow your mind. The one answer i got the most was. (Why don't guy's ask me out, Is it because i'm prettier than the other girls)

As a bartender on the night scene I have had many, many men admit that *the pretty girl* is always more likely to attract the desire and attention of her male counterparts. However if after that initial attraction she then opens her mouth and hasn't nothing to say nor a sense of humor or she's terribly foul mouthed, naturally her pretty face becomes boring quick!

So in other words a pretty girl will have a better chance of getting and *keeping* a boyfriend if she develops a beautiful personality to go with her pretty face.

No, its much more complicated than that.
In school, especially, there are cliques, and of course, that "popular" group-- who alwayz seems to be "prettier" than everyone else and alwayz seems to get the better guys. Most of the time, just because this group is "popular", doesn't mean that they are good looking. Some of them may be gorgeous, but other you wonder--- why are they there? It's a matter of where you stand in social status. Most pretty girls do get boyfriends, but personality plays a huge role in this. I have a friend who is gorgeous, people compliment her on her looks in person, on myspace, and all that stuff, but she is super quiet and does not have much of a personality.

They have more trouble getting a second date, because they use their looks as a crutch, and have not been forced to develop a personality. Oh sure, they THINK they're sweet and charming and nice, but they're actually dull and self-absorbed.

In my Point of View "preety girls" get most of the boys. While in the other hand "Ugly girls" are made fun of and teased at. BUT! It depens on the Boys Point of View. So that is a really hard to answer question.
