Ceteris Paribus ...dont take into consideration other effects such as amp or player. Just speaker .

The Infinity Beta 40 are a better speaker as they have a three way cross over. The response from these speakers will be much fuller as the can take the music from the highs to the low smother.
I would still Highly suggest using a sub woofer with these speaker as the lows really drop off around 50Hz. Not the 40Hz that they are reported to go down to.

All speakers sound different. Everyone has their own taste. You are the only person who can choose.There is no other way.

My preference would be the PSBs.
