i have a feeling it wasn't..
the demo was 9.5MB, is that much?? did i just waste 9.5MB of my hard drive???? and memory???

so with applications on macs you don't have to uninstall them?? just delete, and no wasted MBs?

If it's still listed in the Finder > Applications, you didn't delete it. You just deleted the Desktop / Dock ICON.

To delete any application in OS X, simply drag it from there to the trash.

Eat your hearts out Windoze users!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

P.S. I use XP and Linux, too (BootCamp).

I'm not sure about a Mac, but on a Windows machine you must uninstall a program. If you just delete the files, the OS thinks that the program is still there because of certain markers placed in the system registry.
Editing the system registry is something that should only be done by a professional, because you can really screw up your computer if you change or delete the wrong thing.
