Yes, I feel the same way.

1. I am encouraged by some of the answers given by other Christians;

2. I am challenged by other Christians to research certain difficult passages. For example, a few hours ago a Christian asked about Paul' s statement in Rom 3:7 "But if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? "

3. I've bought and read the following THREE books recently : "The Blind Watchmaker" (supports evolution), "Darwin's Black Box" (against evolution but does not make any comments as to creation); and "Tornado in a Junkyard" (supports special creation). I learned about them on this site. And my faith has been straightened in special creation.

4. Both evolutionists and creationists give direct links to support their worldview. I do visit them so that I can decide if I am on the right or wrong track.

Overall, my faith in God has been straightened because of the time I have spent on Yahoo R & S. I also answer questions in "Science and Mathematics"

Yes I surely do feel that my time I spend on R & S Has a Very special Challenge for me.....I Have been Inspired and received many revelations from the " Different " Questions and Answers! I believe GOD Uses them "all" For Various Reasons.......(.It depends a Lot on just how OPEN our Heart is, As to how much Our challenge is Going to be.) GOD HAS BEAUTIFUL WAYS OF DRAWING US CLOSER TO HIM......And also Placing some Under Convictions, they know Nothing about. (smile)

Two part question.

Do you feel that your time spent on R & S has challenged you?

YES! Big time.

and helped you grow?

Sorry, it is not a good grounds for growth. I have struggled to shine my light amid the matrix of arguments and put downs.

We need to pray about where to take R & S in the future. God is Love! This should be a sanctuary for saints, not a gauntlet past road mines of dissention.

I blame the unbelievers, but we believers too. We have to learn to "turn the other cheek".

God bless you all.
in His love, Michael

Yes, it has helped me grow as far as building my faith and relationship with Christ.

Like servanto.. said, I never realized how many people didn't believe in God.
This has brought to light what is written in the Scriptures.

Sometimes answering some of these questions I know I'm being lead by the Holy Spirit.

No they don't help me grow but I have seen how much hatered there is towards Christians for believing in God and not believing in certain behaviors.

I never realized there so many people that didn't believe in God and it just makes me very sad and is very distrubing. It also worries me a great deal for my son and his future. What will happen to him? I know he loves God and he is a great kid but with the way people behave what is there going to be for him?

Not as much as I had hoped for. Mostly it's just an endless cycle of insults and bashing. There are some great questions but you have to sift through so much stuff to find them.
