Yeah, I heard my father beat my mothers stomach when she was pregnant with me and she nearly lost me. He skipped out on me before I was born, and she left 3 months later.

One big happy Leave it to Beaver episode.

Yes, it's possible because the father might take the anger on the child and children sometimes likes the mother more, but the child is the father's too! I really think the father has no reason to hate HIS child.

That would be very strange from the biological father. I think it is possible to hate the child from an other relationship the mother had. Ether way it is a bad thing to do hating a child who is at no fault.

Why would you do that? If you ever had an ounce of love for that child, how could you hate it? Is it the child's fault you and the Mom do not get along? Have you thought of the psychological damage that is going to do to the child?
If you have a teenager, then I get it, since they can be difficult at best, but if the child is a child then I don't get it, and all children grow up and if you hurt this child now then you could be hurt later in life when you really need them.

I believe it is. In some way, the child probably reminds the father of their mother...whether it be through looks or personality. This exact thing happened between me and my father. I'm the spitting image of my mother and I act like her as well. My father hated me for it.

It's possible... the father hates the kid because of the mother..or vice versa. It's sad and pathetic though..i must admit. I couldn't hate my child no matter how much i hated the father.

yes. men dont bond with children like they should.. women particularly pick up the role of father and mother. but if the month & father are fighting, i dont think the child should be involved.. if the father ends up forgetting his child because of a fight, then he was not a good father in the beginning..

heh..easy going question..anyway, "father hate his child" one statement and "father hate mother"...so,where the child come from???from sky???from mating of goose in the farm..we should ask ouselves..why child always being the pro and contra when the situation is because our fault???think about it...for me,that s totally imposibble that father should hate his own children..as parent, whereas the child want to get protection if his parent disobey his responsibility..please,we as human being have a brain to think rasionale...we not ANIMAL...sorry to say this word...

Of course it is. It's not justified, but I've seen it happen. Most often Dad is taking out his anger on the kids because the kids can't fight back.

By the way, most cases of parents killing their children involve the mothers. That doesn't make sense, but it's true.

Yes. Men don't typically bond with children the way women do. They can forget them very easily if they want to. It's a sad sad thing. That's why tom cats eat baby kittens. They have no feelings.
