I am getting a chocolate lab puppy and I am in need of some sugestions for a name. he is going to be a hunting dog and I am trying to make the name dealing with some sort of aspect of hunting. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My chocolate lab, whom I just put down after 12 and a half years of wonderful times, was named Henry. Short for O'Henry, the candy bar. The close runner up was Hershey, for obvious reasons. I would go that route. His name got lots of laughs. I know that is not for hunting, but I thought I would answer anyway.

I don't know anything about hunting but Skye is a cute name. If you don't find anything better, a name like Snicker's or Hershey's is cute for a CHOCOLATE lab, lol. Sorry for the lame answer.
