Global warming is just a ridiculous theory. Of course the Earth's temperature is going to rise and fall over time. That is completely natural. In the past 100 years, the Earth has heated up by ONE DEGREE!! Something to get worried about? No! Think about when the dinosaurs were around, the Earth was really hott. Natural! Global Warming is absolutely ridiculous.

Do any of you people know the tricks magicians do magic.
You know that when a magician does a trick there is a trick to it...right.
Do you understand that propaganda does the same thing to your minds?

This global warming or climate change garbage has been going on for 20 years. There should be significate evidence that you global warming fanatics are right. I go to the beach every year as i have for 20 years. There hasn't been any change in the boundry of the ocean other than normal erosion in 20 years. The UK scientists started this stuff. they cant tell you whu they even have a backside and cant find it with their 2 hands. Quit believing this stupid propaganda garbage

maybe but this is just merely a thoery.remember when the ice age era came in, most of the animals were frozen like so immediately. but then it wasn't contributed by the global warming and that time, there's no such word as global warming before. the facts that uk doesnt contribute as much as the us and china is due to its excellence in public transportation.

to use the term "hardly" was quite inappropraite as well because the uk are in the cold side of the region.maybe you were making this statement out of your experience that the surrounding temperature is not that hot compared to the us and china.

just to make it clearer, go search for this movie title : the day after tomorrow. it tells you bacisally what will happen if global warming issue wasn't taken care of.

written record started just a few thousand years ago, so there is not a clear record of weather. weather or meterological science has only been around for a few hundred years. Geology, which is the study of the earth, tells us through studies of rocks and sediment deposits on the earths crust, that the earth has a regular hot and cold cycle. the belief is that the earth's cycle is affected by things such as ozone, or the lack thereof. another simple explanation for dramatic climate changes is the fact that the earth changes its axis tilt by 1/3 degree per year. That causes weather patterns to change also.

Obviously, the earth goes through periods of heat and cooler temperatures. However, with everything that we (as humans, not as countries) are doing to the atmosphere and environment, that heat is increased and the effects are augmented. And don't kid yourself. The UK is contributing as well. The US is contributing less than you think. It is mainly India and China that are contributing in huge amounts by burning so many fossil fuels.

Global Warming is a scare tactic used by the left to control you..

If anybody truly believes Al Gore's propaganda film, they should be ashamed of themselves. Do the research yourself and be objective when doing your research. Once you have seen both sides of the argument, you will find that manking has almost zero affect on the global temperature increase.

The data shows clearly that this time it's NOT a natural cycle.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)
Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut and the first Commander of the Naval Space Command

Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

summarized at:

The bottom line:

"While evidence suggests fluctuations in solar activity can affect climate on Earth, and that it has done so in the past, the majority of climate scientists and astrophysicists agree that the sun is not to blame for the current and historically sudden uptick in global temperatures on Earth, which seems to be mostly a mess created by our own species."

the damage that we do now will scare the earth it is true its been proven! and yeah of course the UK contributes unless the UK has no cars ,electricity and farms etc the whole world is, bt some countrys are better at controlling global warming (less cars)

Never had a phase like this. Here is what we know: Blacktop (roads and parking lots) and buildings heat cities; Air pollution causes lung (And other) diseases, deforestation (causing more destruction -duststorms, hurricanes/cyclones all increasing deforestation) and destroys the ozone layer while heating earth surface; fires cause mud slides, deforestation and pollution-more heating surface temperatures; CFC's destroy the ozone layer raising skin cancer rates and killing off endanger species and increased surface temperatures; lighting produces ozone near the surface and raises air pollution levels-more heating, the suns increased magnetic field are causing increases in earthquakes (more destruction), volcanoes (wow), sun spots and more heating. Cars, airplanes, ships and most electricity production causes pollution, warmer temperatures and destruction...But most of this is in our control outside of the sun (Volcanoes and earthquakes are part of the sun magnetic strength): We need to fix what we have done! That is why I founded CoolingEarth.org to mitigate Global Warming through geoengineering.

The cycle we are going through isn't all natural, man's involvement has contributed beyond what is presently understood.

We are all responsible including the UK but there was some science missing.

Go to http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-heatgain.html and see buildings in every city generating heat close to boiling temperature.
