should have stayed where he belongs at DEI his dad is rolling in his grave now that the company doesnt have an Earnhardt driving there. Let's hope Kerrey or Jeffery hurry up and fill the seat. Junior is a shameless sellout, he deserves to lose all his fans

Ok time to debunk a few Jr bashers here. For starters the 2 that called Jr a sellout and a traitor. The way DEI's been the last few years I'd bail too, ok this has nothing to do with not gaining control of the company, it had a lot to do with not being happy with the way it was heading. DEI's 13 blown engines(I'm counting the 01,1,8, and 15 cars here) is the most by any team this season. Notice the 01 didn't have engine troubles when Ginn owned it and was running HMS engines. If DEI was still the way it was a few years ago and he decided to leave then yeah, it's blasphamy but now no. Furthermore Dale Jr's connection to HMS goes back even further than Dale Sr's to RCR. The first driver to win a race for HMS was... ready for this....Dale Sr.
Now for Mike a real ignorant Jr basher. Handed a Nextel team at 18??? The only thing Jr was handed at 18 was a late-model that he shared with Kerry and Kelley. Jr didn't run a Nextel race until he was 25. The only one handed a Nextel ride at 18 was Kyle Busch( sh*t it was only last year he was allowed to put his Bud Pole Award sticker on the car) and he was running CTS races at 17. Sorry dude, your ignorance is glaring.
Ok now for the actual question, I'll still continue to get violently ill when Jimmy Johnson wins a race, but Gordon and Mears I have no problem with. As for throwing cans, not my thing too white trash for me, besides why waste a drink. However the picture of the 48 on my dartboard will still be a target.

I never threw any cans of anything to begin with, why start now.
Aside from that, Dale Jr would not be leaving DEI if his dad were still alive, there would be no need to.
Going to HMS instead of RCR will be like carving out his own destiny.
Dale Jr has plenty of talent, most recently spent trying to make something happen with misfortune and a few mistakes borne of frustration from faulty car engines and parts every week.
I have never liked Jeff Gordon, but respect his driving. Jimmie Johnson is a totally different story.

I am a Jr.fan I could care less who he drives for. I will still cheer for him. And will probably root for any other driver who is ahead of Gordon,Johnson. Only because those 2 seem to me that they are so full of themselves. Although they have been getting better. Maybe, after they get the experience Jarrett or Rusty Wallace has they will not be so Hollywood as i like to call it. But one thing is for sure, Gordon and Johnson are both excellent Race Car Drivers. No i will not throw anything on the track. GIT-ER-DONE Dale Jr. Good luck in the 2008 season.

Budweiser dropped Junior? as far as I even have examine HMS has stated they didnt have room for Budweiser as a results of latest contracts they already had in place. and because Budweiser continues to be under settlement to DEI ir can hardly be unexpected that they wont be on Junior's vehicle next 300 and sixty 5 days. that would not recommend Budweiser "dropped" Junior. a clean team, sponsor and style are a smart decision for Junior. It is going an prolonged way in the direction of a clean photograph of Junior as a severe race vehicle driving force rather of as Senior's son. the actual followers will nonetheless help Junior comparable to they produce different drivers who've switched rides and sponsors. people who do no longer or cant are extra then possibly followers who jumped on the bandwagon while his dad died and havent relatively appeared at Junior as his own person.

I'm a big time Hendricks fan and just remember fans no matter what Jr will always be 3rd, and never be as good as Kyle Busch (not disrespect to Jr) but, face it Kyle Busch is a very talented driver and Rick Hendricks made the biggest mistake of his life by letting Kyle go!!!!!!!!!

Its totally awesome...I can't wait..I have nothing against him being team mates with Jimmie/Jeff and Casey, going to be a great team next yr.. I'm not the normal Jr Nation fan, I do not hate Jeff Gordon, If being Jeff's team mate is what it takes for Jr to win races and a championship...bring it on...I;m so ready for 2008, I can't wait..I wish it were Feb already and the Daytona 500 was this weekend......Yep I'm excited...Big Time.

It makes me feel kinda sexy. But my thoughts are: What a "burn" on Johnson & Gordon fans who did'nt like Junior, and what a "burn" on Junior fans who didn't like Johnson & Gordon. And then I though "Rick Hendrick is a genius" He' got the most popular drivers on his Hendrick Motorsports team. Now DEI can quit screwing around and we can watch Martin Truex Jr. run circles around Gordon, Johnson, and his ex-teammmate Dale Junior. I'm sure Hendrick Motorsports will "swoop" in 2008. But I also think the competition is going to be a lot stiffer. Joe Gibbs Racing is going to be awfully intimidating with Kyle and Tony as teammates. And I think Toyota is going to have some "massive brains" in there "tech" department.

Well Donna, I agree that Teresa flew in on a broom after Dale Sr. died and really put the shaft to Jr. towards the end. It would be my belief that Dale Sr. would eventually want to turn ownership of his company over to his son sometime down the road...isn't that the American Dream? So I feel that Jr. made a sound move. Would I have preferred him go to RCR? Definitely! However, he needed to seek his own identity. This move will be good for him. I won't throw AMP cans at Jeffy Poo or Jimmie "the" Johnson, but I did come to the conclusion that I can still hate those two bastards and still be a Dale Jr. fan, even though his boss is the mafia king of NASCAR. Casey Mears is a good dude. He hasn't allowed himself to get caught up in the arrogant holier than thou web that Gordon and Johnson have. I believe the one problem you will see among HMS' two premier drivers is that they will be upset that they are no longer the media golden children they always have been for that team. Sharing the spotlight will be a difficult pill for Jeffy and "play with his" Johnson to swallow.

I've got some mixed feelings toward that. My dad is a huge Jeff Gordon fan and now that Jr. is teaming with them it's like I'm teaming witth the enemy. I think Jeff is a great racer but I really prefer Johnson and Jr. I love Casey Mears because I'm in the National Guard. Depending on how this race goes I'll wear Johnson's hat, Mears' shirt, and Jr.'s jacket to work (:

I got sick of hearing about it all summer. Now if Gordon or Johnson were sweitching teams I'd understand the publicity, but Junior hasn't won a race in a year and a half, and he's pretty much spit in his Dad's face by leaving the company that he and Theresa started, then all his crybaby fans raise a stink that unlike any other drivers, "Holier-than'Thou" Dale should keep his number 8. What a crock, bring on some real news!
