NO!

God has given mankind freewill, Its us who create the problems. Look at the mess we are making of our ecology.

To give you a similitude...
Its like a father teaching his son to ride a bike.
He does not want to harm the child,
but knows that till the child does not try on his own he will not learn. May be in the process the child will fall and get hurt. But the result is that the child will learn to ride.

May Allah bless you and your family.

Do you think such a god exists?Do you think the creator of the universe is as described in the bible? You see the war,pain,rape,discrimination..and you STILL think that such a god really exists? If a god exists, what, besides a silly old book, makes you even think it would have human attributes? The message of the various spiritual teachers that have popped up through the years is about the struggle to control the self,to master the self. With everything going on in the world,it is still possible to be at peace about it.Explore your mind, determine if there is a god, then determine what the nature of this god is.I do not believe god is simply an omniscient, angry being with superman powers.I don't see why a god owes us anything. We came to be,we have this world.Simply do the best you can.because injustices go on in the world, one need not participate. All the racism, starvation, war, and pain make finding peace and understanding all the more crucial. The "angry, vengeful, god you describe seems pretty self defeating. You have to determine for yourself the nature of this god.But a little reflection and contemplation will get you closer than the ideas you hold

No, I don't think God likes to watch people suffer. But...! It was He who made the universe the way it is. We suffer because suffering is a part of the universe, no need to always blame everything on us imperfect sinners! Nature is filled with suffering (as well as with pleasure and normally neither one nor the other). Nature is tough. That having been said, I think God is too concerned with His major plan, whatever that is, and that's about it.

God only wants to test us and see if we will revolt against God in sufferings or we will observe patience in all circumstances considering it a will of God for His test.

If we passGod's test, there is always light at the end of tunnel. Meaning our hereafter will certainly be much better than our present life if we keep believing God under all sufferings. We are nothing compared to Prophets of God. They have gone through sufferings also. But they all are in the highests levels of Heaven. We can also be there closer to those Prophets if we follow their teachings and observe patience. Patience is the key but also very very difficult to practice. We can never get to heaven without going through difficulties.

No, He does not like to watch people suffer.
God HAS gone through all of those things. I WILL tell you about Christ being God in the flesh because it IS true. It is not a story.

I will tell you what I know to be true.

You have already made up your mind about God. No one will answer you to your satisfaction. You believe what you choose to believe.
You ahve already decided that you hate God. You blame Him for all of the woes of the world. Yet you do not even believe in Him. How much sense does that make?
Either believe or don't believe, but you cannot have it both ways.

You can't NOT believe but blame Him for everything.
That is senseless.

God IS suffering when he sees what PEOPLE do to one another.
We go through these things not because of God but because of PEOPLE.

So where do you put your faith and who are you to instruct God?
Honest darlin you have to look way beyond the seen. What the bible speaks of is a reality that is greater than what most people can see. You have to trust God in what is going on and know that all is according to His will for a reason and a finite mind like mine and yours cannot comprehend the infinite mind of God.
Trust Him, come the end? Everything is going to be set right!
Not a scruple will go by Him. Not a whisper of a scruple will go by Him.
His authority is far greater than a mere 'story', far far greater than that.

God sent his son to experience life as we all do ; God doesn't cause suffering , mankind does; he spends his gift of freedom to choose , good or evil ; God didn't create robots , he gave us free will ; he doesn't cause bad things to happen but is there if they do at the hands of mankind; his judgment will be his judgment; if you have God in your heart and things happen , you would be amazed; with all the ego, arrogance and selfish of some people, there isn't any room for goodness and God b/c it is too filled up with the opposite. A seed grows in good soil not sand and rocks. Take a look around the universe, God provides, man corrupts , out of ego , arrogance and selfishness

We should because people take their own path there. God has a plan for everyone, but that is in the long run. You just have to find your own way there. And if someone is poor and starving, then they made it that way.

Be the change you want to see in the world. Ally yourself with others who are being the change they want to see in the world. Then, no one will have to watch people suffer like this again.
