Im not looking for really good quality just enough to be decent.

You can't buy TV screens with resolution that poor.

Watching a film in 960x240 resolution would best be described as 'blok-o-vision' i.e. the picture quality will be so bad, everything will look as if it's made from blocks...

I saw that device and thought "what a strange aspect ratio". By that I mean width to height ratio ... in this case (assuming the pixels are square) the screen would be either 4 units high x 1 wide or 4 wide x 1 high. Furthermore, at any size bigger than about 30 cm/1 foot the picture would be pretty grainy.

The short comment I saw on the device was, essentially, 'Maybe OK for kids, but not for anything serious'

I'd avoid it.

You would be better to look for a good used projector in the $300-400 range, or a discontinued or refurbished unit. I know it's more money, but unless you are VERY easily satisfied you won't get an acceptable picture for less. Also, before deciding on a projector, keep in mind you need a screen (or at least a blank white to light grey wall) and you need to replace lamps every 3000 hrs or so, and they cost $300-$450 each!!.

960x240! sounds like super ultra widesceen, lol.
Seriously, that means for every 1 foot vertical, there will be 4 feet horizontal... not good for watching TV... or anything else I can think of.

Try and get the highest resolution possible.
Try and get at least 800x600 or 1024x768 if you plan on hooking your computer up to it.
