the world needs some form of governance - would you prefer christianity, islam, or big brother (with possible hitler).
i dont think there's much choice nowdays, but it's an interesting topic for me. as is Job 38:19 (the PATH light dwells) vs the (PLACE light dwells); something that scientifically didn't make sense for 4000+/-yrs. (unless they had some adv tech? :P)
any thoughts/whatnot would be appreciated.. just sorta amused by it all.

religion is government; though more 'self' governance than anything. atheism is what crumbled the soviet union. (see the Breach movie) 'godless' has been a very direct insult throughout time for a good reason - self-serving people are self-defeating. & as a note.... i really havent' said my views.

The world certainly needs government, but that does NOT mean just one, or even just one kind. There must be alternatives, so that if you wind up in a place with a Mugabe for a dictator, you have someplace else to go.

Christianity and Islam aren't forms of government. They're religions, which though closely related, are not the same. That leaves only one choice, so your question can't be answered.
And Job 38:19 doesn't refer to light beams, it's talking about spiritual paths, one leading to light, one leading to darkness.

None of them. More atrocities have been perpetrated in the name of religion than anything else in history. And remember its a "possible Hitler", not a definitive one.
People should rule themselves, religion should be personal and remain that way.
