many people think that things and people cannot be changed. do you think that by being better human being, doing good and forgiving others you can change others for the better? or you think that others deserve to suffer because they are responsible for their own destiny? do you think that something can be done for you, me and for all others to lead happier life?

The blind lead the blind to their doom, and of course change does begin with oneself. Be it intentional or unintentional, every action we perform affects others, so make sure that the change you bring about within yourself is positive and ultimately selfless. This works, but one must remain sincere and mindful continuously. You can also do this directly, usually changing others, even in the smallest of ways- the best ways are by teaching others or directly helping them, being charitable, etc.

Do not concern yourself too much with alieviating the suffering of others (at least until you can *genuinely* assist the sufferer/s [by bringing change about, making this possible within yourself]). There is an infinitude of suffering out there (and if you believe in rebirth you have suffered infinitely), helping others is good, but you cannot control how much suffering happens- this is their karma, and yes all suffering is earnt, it is not unjust.

The best thing that one can do to help oneself and others is to seek and attain enlightenment for the sake & happiness of all sentient life.

I think that by being good and forgiving you might change others. You will change yourself for sure.

DO others deserve to suffer?
I think that if you cause someone else to suffer, then if you are a good person, you will suffer. If you're not a good person and cause someone else to suffer and feel no remorse, then I think you ought ot be made to suffer.
There are people who kill others and who rob others, who injure others and feel no remorse. Some go to prison and still feel as if THEY are the victims.

I don't understand that.

I think if we all respect one another and treat one another as we want to be treated, then we will all lead happier lives.

I think that if you change your life to be more as Christ expects you to be you will be happier. I think that with this happier self others will see you being happy. And others will wonder why is he so happy. And when they say to you why are you so happy, what do you say? You say, "I'm living life as a Christian." And others will look into this life as a Christian. And some will find happiness in it aswell. Did I change the other person? I'd say no. All glory goes to God

The power of example is very strong. also, you can give a part of yourself to the other person, by speaking from the heart, a heart that has changed for the better. This will affect the other person, and could inspire change in them.

It does start with ourself... The best way to lead people is by example. We can't force people or change them. A person must be open and willing to change. I do pray to God to help people change. Also according to His will. God knows the persons heart and He knows when or if they will change...

We cannot change others. We can live our lives as well as we know, and possibly through that,we may inspire others. The only person we can actually change is ourselves.Someone must WANT to change. If observing you and your life makes one want to,then,in a little way,you helped. That's the best one can hope for
