The summer is the best time for a guy to go shirtless, or when the weather it really warm. You should never go shirtless in a "shirts required area" like in a business place. Around the house is fine, and you should be in-shape. Eating at a dinner table, is not something to do shirtless. It's just not something to do shirtless. Outside, in a car driving, home, at the beach or pool, NOT in a business place, are most common places to go shirtless.

I know for guys to go shirtless is fun, but you have to be cautious where you do it.

I haven't because I am a girl, but I can say with a lot of certainty, don't do it in a restaurant...that is just gross....don't sit a the dinner table without a shirt...but things like BBQ's are okay for eating shirtless. Don't do it where no one else is because that is just tacky...like you are screaming for attention, it will make you look foolish. (i.e. the movies, a wedding, a business gathering....) Its fine at the beach, a BBQ or picnic...where sporting activities are involved.....but take a towel to wipe up your sweat so you aren't dripping it all over the place. Just use your best judgement...do you think the host of the function would have a problem with it, if yes then either leave and take your shirt off...or respect their preferences and leave it on. you can still enjoy yorself with clothing. If you want to show off your muscles, there are a lot of nice looking shirts that will do that and still be very hot looking.

Most cities have a health code ordinance. "No shoes,no shirt,no service".
