There are similarities between Muslim and Christian eschatology (end-time theology) with just as many variations. Some Sunni Muslims think Jesus will return prior to the Day of Judgment as 'The Guided One' (Mahdi), other Sunni's say he will be from the family of Muhammed and reign for 7 years to make Islam triumphant worldwide before the end. Isma'ili Muslims say Isma'il (son of the 6th Imam) will be the Mahdi. Imami Muslims say Muhammed al-Muntazar (the 12th Imam who disappeared in AD 878) will return as the Mahdi to revive Islam and conquer the world. The famous Muslim Ibn Khaldun rejected any such messianic expectations due to many fraudsters claiming to be the Mahdi; also because the Qur'an and early editions of the Traditions do not refer to any such person.
Lots of different beliefs about Christ Jesus returning are also in Christianity - whether his millennial reign will literally be for 1,000 years on earth, or whether his coming brings The End and the Day of Judgment. Dialog is good and should be encouraged whilst fighting is abominable. There will be no agreement, however! Dialog could clear up misunderstandings though and that, in turn, could lead to more openness to consider other views. But nobody should labor under the misunderstanding that there are so many similarities with eschatology that we can all merge into one! The differences are enormous and cannot be dismissed as unimportant - the Christ of the Bible is not the Jesus of the Qur'an; the Qur'an abrogates all earlier Holy Books; God's judgment is based on whether people did sufficient good deeds to cancel out their bad ones. These are fundamental difference between Islam and Christianity (which says we can only be saved by faith in Christ taking our punishment for all our sins upon himself on the cross) This can never be reconciled with Islam's theology.

Really your question is nice. Even if they do not believe there should be peace. One thing I found very strange that I asked a question that how you will recognise Jesus did not give any reply by muslim told details about Jesus and his enemy anti-christ, read for information:
He will descend on the minaret of Great Mosque of Damascus while keeping his hand on shoulder of angels. (The Umayyad Mosque, or Great Mosque, is said to have been a heathen temple. It was converted into a Christian church at the end of the 4th century. It then contained what was believed to be the head of Saint John the Baptist and was named the Cathedral of Saint John). His features will be:
It is narrated by Abu Hurayrah, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace be upon him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet.
anti-christ will be:
Narrated Ubadah ibn as-Samit: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I have told you so much about the Dajjal (Antichrist) that I am afraid you may not understand. The Antichrist is short, hen-toed, woolly-haired, one-eyed, an eye-sightless, and neither protruding nor deep-seated. If you are confused about him, know that your Lord is not one-eyed. (Sunnan of Abu Dawood 4320-2024)

There isn't a need for a dialogue because that really is just a premise that Muslims have used for years to convert Christians to Islam and this never works. All that needs to be done is that religious tolerance is the rule of the day and Jesus will come when he does (and/or the Messiah) and we will all be corrected then.
Good Luck!!!

It's because we disagree on who Jesus was/is, and we also disagree on the method of His return. Muslims believe that He's going to fight the antichrist, and show everyone to the "true path," which according to Muslims is of course Islam.
Christians, on the other hand, believe that Jesus will come at the end of days, and everyone who believes in Him will be saved. Of course, there's also a debate amongst Christians as to what Revelation means....but we won't know until happens, right?
I don't think there's any reason to fight over it.

because of the fact the Muslim radicals would use the day as a farce and make their flow, probably. as nicely, i'd desire to on no account provide a "thumbs up" to somebody getting 5-someodd virgins contained in the afterlife for his kamikaze strikes. the two atheists or christians would in all possibility initiate a controversy. i think of i'd desire to get alongside with a Hindu or Buddhist, although. I wanna rub the Buddha abdomen.

no, islamists want to kill christians, christians want to kill islamists. christians support jews, amerika supports jews. islam hates jews, kills jews, kills amerikans, kills christians. christians kill those that god tells them to kill and so does islamists. neither group can find a sunny spot anywhere and lay down.
