Dear Elaine,
Hi. First of all, anyone that cannot get their cat to use a box is a moron. Ive owned cats all my life, and never have they not used their box. They just "naturally" go to their box when shown.
Secondly, If my cat stops using the box, I wouldnt 'come back here complaining', Id toss it outside where the earth could be its box.
Sincerly,
Sara (last name being held in fear of the debs 'police' trying to track me down. lol)

Most cats are clean animals, their not about to "take a dump on your head" Give me a break.
But I agree with cosmo, 100%. You may scare the animal to the point where she wont want to use her box and will start using the floor.
I know it probably seems like "fun" but she's a living creature, with feelings and fears, her eyes are freaked out because she is in the middle of doing her business and cant run away. Please stop doing this, your cat needs YOU to protect her and love her. Not scare her to death for no reason other than for kicks.

Animals are like humans too. Her litter box should be closed in a private spot. Where others can not see them. Most cats that are disturbed during their litter box time can start to have problems. For ex-sample: They will find another spot in their home to do their duty. They can also develop urine blockage. This will cost to fix this problem at vet.
How would you feel (honestly now) if someone was to bother you in this way while you were in a public washroom or at
home. Scared? Angry? Don't feel the need to go anymore? I would like to see the look on your face if someone did this to you everyday. Answer to your question? NO. Its not ok!

If your cat went by you while you were on the crapper and YE - OWLED at the door, how would YOU react???
Think it might make you a bit "anal retentive"?? Would you consider "punishing" her??
Better check your bed pillows and insides of your shoes before climbing in - your cat may just decide to leave you a nice smelly little "present".....

I agree with some of the others
You might scare her away from her litter box and start using the bathroom all over the house
but it sounds funny though

oh my god this is not good. by the sound of it you get a kick out of doing this to know what her eyes do. you dont deserve a cat if you are yelling while she is going to the toilet because she is doing the right thing by going to her litter box.

Considering all the 'my cat won't use the litter box' posts, do you really want to break your cat of the habit of using a box then come back complaining yours won't go where it's supposed to?
Wise up. It's not funny what you're doing.

Yer mean, Early. How dare you interupt your cats crap? How would you like it if someone peeked in on you in your most intimate moment? You would be embarrassed and freaked out. That's how your cat feels. Try to have some empathy.

listen, if you were taking a dump, ( or leaving a dump as some want to contest)
and I came by and shouted there was a fire or that I'm going to rape you, would you not be scared?
Just be grateful you're already on the toilet so you can't let go in your pants.

yea it might be the best not to do that while shes doing her bussiness.yea it might look fun to you but shes prbly really shaken. and if you scare her enough she might stop going in the litterbox and start going other places.
