I would guess size 8. It depends on how big she is for her age. Is she taller or chubbier than other girls her age or do people think she is older? She would probably need a bigger size. If she seems small for her age she might need a smaller size. My daughter is 6 and just recently started fitting into size 5 shirts, and her cousin who is two months older than her is in a size 7 so it really depends on the child.

Usually their age is their size so about an 8. But I would be on the safe side and get a 9 because sizes do vary between stores. Better to have it a little big than a little small. She can always roll the waistband over or the legs up on the pj pants.

I have two nephews, one is 8 and once is 9 and a neice that is nine and they all wear between a 9-12 clothes so it varies a lot. Best to keep receipts or give it to the parent just in case it doesn't fit.

I would say a medium unless she is tiny. My boys differ so much and they are very close in age so it's hard to judge another child and not knowing anything about them.

My almost 7yr old wears a small, but they are getting too short on him....he's very tall and very thin. My 5yr old wears the same size as the 7yr old....he's thicker around the middle and shorter. XS was getting too tight...lol

One thing to remember is that pajamas always look smaller on the rack because children's pajamas are designed to fit snug. My 7yr old wears a 10 in boys pajamas and my 6yr old wears an 8....It just depends on her body type.

If you get her something keep the receipt so she can exchange it if it's not the right size!
