2+2=4 is a truth. This is not subject to interpretation.
One can say I don't believe you have the truth but truth is just what it is, truth.
Christianity has a rich history which started with the jews at the beginning of time. The bible is filled with historical facts that Archaeologists use and has been proven very reliable. We have over 5000 documented ancient findings of scripture, many in different languages, all the same. WE have the dead sea scrolls to prove this also. The Vatican just bought 2 gospels dating 90 ad, the same as we have today. There is prophesies that has come to pass from the bible that proves it's reliability. Over 300 just for the man Jesus.
We have non christian evidence of Jesus from Tacitus and Josephus both historians. And a Governor named Pliny the Younger who all wrote about "Christos" and his followers the Christan's.
Archaeologists have found the tomb of Caiaphas who was the Pharisee that brought Jesus to trial.
Jesus WAS a real person who was an historical figure. Even well read Atheists KNOW this.
We have eye witnesses who had every thing to loose by claiming to be a follower of Jesus. Why? When Jesus was killed they scattered. Afraid. BUT when they saw he was resurrected they became bold. Why?
Since the bible is reliable, and Jesus WAS here you must decide.
Was he a nut? A liar, Or who he claimed to be.

Jesus has worked real well for a lot of people, as a connection to God, and for a long period of time. You need to find the connection to God, that works for you. Pray/meditate, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, and don't over indulge, and you will get more sensitive and stronger spiritually. Then, see what inspiration you can get, that will work for you, and help you make a positive contribution to this world.

I think that Laramore explained quite well the event that took place. As far as it being a "con" I think you will not find the answer here, I think you will not find the answer on the internet. That's one of those questions only you yourself can answer. Who can give you belief in something? No one! But i can tell with a good amount of certainty that if you seek the truth about God you will find it!

I think he still lives on the earth, through the lives of others. After all, if he's God, why can't he?
As for Jesus, he said, "If you've seen me, you've seen the father." And his life seems to be one of sincerity...not a con.

Well, this has to do with the blessed trinity, and that is REALLY hard to understand. There are three persons in one god, the father, the son, and the holy spirit. they are all the same person, but they are also single people. So Jesus, was God, but also himself. I guess you could say that God is part of Jesus. I know, its hard to understand, and it sounds ridiculous but its not.

The Bible clearly explains that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. God is a spirit. We cannot see a spirit. The only way we can see God is to see Jesus. The apostles asked Jesus "How can we see God". Jesus answered. "You see me, you see God"
.Do not let non-believers deceive you. Sadly, they will learn the truth one day. Pray for their salvation.

It is false that God was Jesus. God is the Creator not ever once a creation nor is God paradoxical with three separate persons but one God.
The trinity is a falsehood. God's begotten Son Jesus Christ in heaven became Jesus. Jesus was the firstborn of all creation.
The trinity concept in Christianity was from the 4th Century by the Roman Emperor Constantine who wanted to amalgamate the pagans to Christianity. He made it easier for them by making the trinity in the Roman Catholic Church.
(2 Timothy 4:3-4) .... in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. . .

God's first creation [note, CREATION] was the spirit of Christ; Logos. All mankind has shared this spirit, but in most of us it is very badly obscured. Occasionally someone truly realises the Christ within. Jesus is one of the few perfect examples of this.

Your atheist friends will say so.....
But, my heart and spirit say that it is not impossible..... Of the things that I have learned over the past 24 years, dreams are the most significant truth of God's existence.....
Do I believe that God walked the earth....... Yes!!! and I believe he influenced a whole lot of people for a good that, to this day, cannot be fathomed and so there are those like yourself who still question.... I think that's awesome!..........
