If god really IS everywhere, why do fundies keep shouting at me to "accept him in my heart?"
I'd think he already was there, if he truly was everywhere. They contradict themselves once too often to be believed.

A lot of people have their spiritual senses dulled by over indulging, eating poorly, not exercising, and not reading inspiring books. Everything does happen for a reason, science knows that, and does its best in the limited material realm it can reach. Understanding the reason is difficult and very challenging, but life is meant to be challenging, and a test of one's spiritual will. Only a few come up with new knowledge or discoveries, because of the high degree of difficulty. God is the universal force, that hold the universe together as one, so God is everywhere.

Nonsense. For there are 3 that undergo witness in heaven: the daddy, the awareness (see John one million:one million), and the Holy Spirit; and those 3 are one. (one million John 5:7) query i've got self assurance that God embodies each and every of the gods and goddess in all religions, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism

Don't let the clergy fool you! God is not everywhere at the same time... HE NEEDS TO GO AND FIND OUT!

In the case of Sodom and Gomorrah... God didn't have the foggiest idea of what was going on in Sodom. When he found out he destroyed them on the spot! So much for omniscience and omnipresence!

Genesis 18:20-21 (NIV) Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know."

God created everything with a reason ...and there is a purpose from everything to happen .... however, you don't have to find it logical or know what the reason is ...coz it simply might not affect you ... but affects a future generation ....

God is everywhere and he listens to everything ... and he inspires everything ... but humans have a brain to choose and good knows what this mind will choose ... but he wishes for us all to do the right thing...

All things for purpose.... Consider the weeds in the field.... Certainly, the flowers would be much more beautiful without them, and yet, without the presence of the weeds, we would have nothing to prove of our ability to create beauty......

Consider, that a dream comes through the multitude of business.... which means that it is necessary to motivate in life before a dream is even dreamt.......

But, if we did no thing...... experienced no emotions.... learned no thing...... We would dream no more forever.......

Yes.. .all things for purpose!!!

What I can say, is God is everywhere.... Consider the air.... There is a Scripture which reads: we shall all be caught in the air.......

If the air is all around, certainly we need go no where to experience the change associated with resurrection.... Because the air is in our being, it is outside of our being, it is heaved inward and outward..... It is in the water that we need, it is in everything imaginable... and anything without it, ceases to be..... forever.....

So it is with God.......

God is omnipresent. His Spirit is everywhere. He leaves man to make his own dicisions about Him. Man is a "free moral agent". God only wants people who truly want him. God knows where your heart is. If he sees that you are truly seeking him, he will come running to you. God is love.
