People who commit suicide are emotionally disturbed and psychologically challenged.
I for one do not believe that suicide is an unforgivable sin.

No! Suicide is not the unpardonable sin. The unpardonable sin as mentioned in the gospels cannot be committed in this day and age as the circumstances don't exist any more. The unpardonable sin was committed when Jesus was casting out demons and when the religious leaders of His day saw it they knowingly, publicly, and deliberately accredited the miracles to be worked by the power of Satan. This was blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Jesus made the truth extraordinarily clear when he said "if i had not done among them the works that no other had done then they had not had sin. now they have seen both Me and My Father and hated both Me and My Father, and now they have no cloak for their sin" The only sin in today's age that can't be frogiven is the sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ.

No, the unforgivable sin is denying until death that Jesus is the Christ.
The bible does not talk about Suicide.
God has great plans for us, life is a gift, if we can wait out the pain life will get better if we follow God. If we can accept and realize we are worthy of his love life gets better. God doesn't make junk, you, me, we are worthy.
God loves you very much, He told you this, on the cross.

NO, the unforgiveable sin is not accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, suicide has nothing to do with your salvation. Jesus Said in John 3:3 that except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven. When Jesus died on the Cross he forever opened the door to Salvation to all who believe, to all who will call upon his name. Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Our sins is what seperates us from God. Jesus's death on the Cross as a Perfect Sacrifice washed our sins away. Have you ever accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Have you ever ask him to come into your heart and make you a child of His. You can right now, just pray this simple sinners Prayer and start a new life with Jesus right now, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

There is only one unforgiveable sin according to the Catholic Church, that is, sinning against the Holy Spirit. Unrepenting, and refusal to accept the salvation which Christ's death and resurrection brought to all.

It's one of the Unforgivable Sins. It gives you a one way ticket to Hell. Murder is another unforgivable sin. Also, i was watching something about hell on the history channel, (dont ask me why) and it said the love of sex, money , and power more than God will also make you go to hell also.

Suicide is the weakest easiest decision a person can make. I feel that we are on earth of our own accord. You chose to be here for the life you have now, every situation you are going trough you chose preemptively in an effort to better understand free will. I am not saying I believe in fate. I believe the situations you are dealing with are chosen by you before you were born, that includes your brother, your mother, the date you were born(which is why I feel astrology is valid), but you have the "Free will" to choose how you handle each and every situation you deal with. For ex. You have no say in it when someone offers you drugs, but you have a say in how you handle it when they do. So make the right decisions, when you are old, and it is your time to pass, when you look back on your life, one assurance I will have(and I hope you do too) is that you lived your life to the fullest and made the best decisions possible that you knew to make.
Oh and don't worry about the ones that you messed up on, sometimes those are predestined mistakes that your friends or family has set up for themselves prior to better understand free will. Best of luck to you Friend. Chad G

God only gave us life. We don't have any right to take out the life. Only God has the right to call us back. So if we suicide, we are out of the Will of the Father

Hi Mexican Bob,
There is only one sin by which we are condemned..... That is blasphemy of the holy spirit......
You will see many things on this..... but, what you need to know is this: Blasphemy is not cursing or condemning another....
Blasphemy is preventing the holy spirit to utilize you as its vessel to speak through when an absolute time comes when it is necessary....... Then, the one will fall away from the faith on account they have turned away from God.....
That is blasphemy and there is no forgiveness.....
all things through God for purpose..... Every man, who of his own accord, designs himself to be a "self-made" man, fails in the future..... He will strive to stay above......
But, the man who trusts in God, will overcome his enemies.
Suicide indicates a need to rid one's self of pressing problems associated with self..... But, it can be forgiven.... Only God knows why a person should do such a thing... Murder is murder even unto the self.......
God be the judge......
Your sister,
ginger

Suicide is a part of mental illness, therefore how can you be punished. Would you be shunned from Heaven for having Cancer? It is no different.
