Religion is a highly personal thing. Certain people need religion to reassure them. The word religion comes from tow greek words. re- and liggio basically meaning "to bind back" It's a method of binding oneself back to who or whatever they believe in.
The computer and internet, although useful tools do not have the answer for EVERYTHING...and most of the information is diluted or opinion.
As long as there are people who cannot think, reason or express for themselves...there will always be a religion.

You know, that makes absolutely no sense, because religions provide relationships, not answers. They explain the relationship between people and the unseen world of God, gods, spirits, or whatever the believers believe in. For example, Christianity tells us about our relationship to God and tells us the history of how God created the world and affected the world and how he seeks a relationship with us. What does that have to do with internet answers?

Crushing all deceivers, mashing non-believers, never ending potency. Hungry violence seeker, feeding off the weaker, breeding on insanity. Smashing through the boundaries, lunacy has found me, cannot stop the battery.

For stones who cannot fathom anything beyond the material/physical realm, the internet will do just fine. For those who are aware of existence beyond the material/physical, religion, both the spiritual and social teachings, have great significance for their lives and the world/s in which they live.

I think we need it more than ever.. People are getting away from morality more and more.. its like a life of living orgy everywhere..
Where is the guide to morality, how to deal with your neighbors, family, how to relieve stress, how to deal with children, what to get out of life.. Islam has all this and more in its guidelines. ie: Quran.. we need structure and guidance more than anything these days..
