If it affects us, it will definitely affect a bird. Just think of the size to weight ratio. Honestly, don't be so stoopid :o

Yes, Red Bull affects birds. So does the soda and the kool aid that you say he drinks. Unless you are trying to kill your bird, do not give him anything with caffeine, sugar or salt.

There are a number of foods and other things that are poisonous to birds. Here is an excellent list of Poisonous Foods, Metals & Compounds: http://www.birdsnways.com/articles/poisons.htm

You will notice that alcohol & alcoholic beverages, caffeine, chocolate, highly salted foods, soft drinks (with caffeine) or colas are among the many things that can poison your bird. If I were you, I'd check out the entire list, ans stop feeding your bird dangerous foods and drinks.

Caffein and sugar are not good for pet birds. I believe energy drinks contain relatively high levels of both and could adversely affect your Grey's health. Most non-diet sodas and Kool Aids have high levels of sugar. It doesn't make sense to give your bird just a little "poison", now and then, just because he likes it.

These are not natural drinks for any bird !They all contain Caffiene which is harmful to birds and can cause severe digestive problems they can also cause your bird to be very aggresive ,like being drunk and hyperactive, and it may come that if you give too many of these drinks you could loose your bird,

Think before you Drink.

A side effect would be death.
I don't reccomend giving him soda or anything with flavouring and colouring and especially nothing with caffeine... these can harm a bird.

If you want to give him something other than water as a treat, you can try fruit juice that doesn't have things added. :)

Those energy drinks are FULL of caffeine and sugar, two things your bird shouldn't have. The caffeine--NEVER. The sugar only in small amounts like in fruit or fruit juice.

yes it defenetly affects the bird by the size/weight ratio and on a mild note I raise rollers and parlors and before the competition I mix water and gatorade and it does affect them.

There is no need to give your bird red bull as it already has wings lol. on a serious note though i had one and gave it loads of stuff i ate but it died in the end cause our food is bad for them.

you blithering idiot.. every one knows that bulls are not red, and if they were, the certainly would be pissed off that some one put those silly " " 's around them cause it like fences them in. And birds are not affected by anything cause they are on a higher conscious level then humans....and pass me another brew there....

EVERYTHING affects birds!
Give them water and bird food. Nothing else.
