when the mini series rifles fire the same caliber and accept simililar hi cap mags... Many liberals think the cali assault weapons ban is effective yet they do not know that it is purely a cosmetic ban with little bearing on the availability of these caliber rifles? why are they so ignorant politically?

They aren't ignorant politically. They can thump themselves on the back and tell the voters "Look what I did -- I got assault weapons off the streets!" And, ignorant voters will believe them and keep them in office. Most of what they do isn't for our betterment, it is to get themselves re-elected.

The AR-15 and AK-47 are banned by name. Mainly because of the stereotype of what these guns look like. California law makers like to ban a lot of guns based on solely cosmetic features. Like is the gun black, does it have a bayonet lug, does it have night sights (active or dead), that kind of stuff.
The mini 14 and mini 30 don't have bayonet lugs or those military accessories that California law makers hate. Remember, its all about protecting the children.

If you think that one is messed up, I got one that will really crank your mind. California has the .50 caliber ban on .50 rifles. So if you want to have a new Barett shipped in, it can't be done. However, if you would rather have a belt fed M2HB in semi auto in .50 BMG that is perfectly ok. The reason why is that the .50 Ban is specific to .50 caliber RIFLES. The M2HB and a few others are not rifles because they are not shoulder fired, also they do not fall in the pistol category for obvious reasons. So, by a technicality they are ok.

Don't ya love those dumb as a pile of rocks anti-gunners?

Frankly. it truly does not count number. Which one do you need? at the instant, the value distinction between an AR, an AK, and a Mini are not that lots diverse to warrant no longer getting the only you like. you're able to desire to make effective that your rifle is one million. sturdy 2. sturdy 3. sturdy (i think of you get the image, stay faraway from much less costly mags fantastically with the Mini and AR) Any present day rifle is going to be minute of undesirable-guy, that's solid sufficient. i think of in case you like to place a gaggle of tacti-cool stuff, then i could stay away from the mini. The 30 around mags are complicated to come across (examine high priced). Its a super feeling rifle, common, easy, and undemanding to handle. i like my AR. you are able to gown it up any way you like. you additionally could make it easy, heavy, and precise as your wallet assist you to. you are able to exchange calibers truly (inspite of the indisputable fact that i like the .223) and the controls are very ergonomically. probable takes a sprint greater care than the others. maximum AK's safeties are merely a sprint a soreness. that's a sprint harder to place optics on, despite if that's accomplished. All are solid structures. there's a reason that the AK and AR are many of the main drastically used rifles by militaries. some human beings like the AR and a few like the AK. For all you poeple that think of that buckshot and handguns can no longer penetrate numerous partitions. Google, container of reality. Get the gun you like. constantly the superb coverage.

Yes just anti-gun crap....But the reason the Ruger was left off the ban was that Ruger was for the ban and said no one should ever own 20 or 30 rd mags....in the civilian market and to this day still does not sell to us...But the laugh is on them now if the new ban makes it the Mini and 10/22 are on it......

Well much of the World considers California to be a Logic Free Zone, but the old "Assault Weapons Ban" did not target
Rugers basically because they are sold with a 5 round mag and Bill Ruger lobbied/Contributed to certain key politicians to keep his guns of the Bad List. Calf simply copied the Bad Gun List for their Law. To ruger is was good finacial move as it cut down on competition.

They are 'gun illiterate' not politically ignorant.
We all had a big laugh when a congressman voted
to ban the Mini 14 during the "assault weapon" fiasco
and it turned out he owned one.
When called on it he exclaimed
"But it's just a little gun!"
What is chilling is that they're willing to make Law
when they so obviously don't know what they're doing.

I agree with you..... the AR-15 and the Mini14-30 are all Semi auto's, the AK full automatic...... but it is the ignorant politicians who are gun haters and anti NRA who dont believe in the 2nd amendment rights for Americans..... California isn't alone.... it is like that in the north east.....impossible to buy a hand gun or any gun at all..... im glad I live in a state that isn't micro managed 100% by bleeding heart liberals..... soon cap guns and water pistols will be illegal in CA.... good luck, if I were you I would move.

The Ruger rifles are not scary-lookin' "army" guns....
....Even though they can produce the same volume of firepower as AR's and AK's.
It's ridiculious.
But it makes 'em feel all warm and creamy inside.
