Christians agains Athiests, Muslims against Jews? Is it all going to come to a head in a massive world war? Why or why not?

Tariq- my reason is that Christians are killed when they go to other countries, Muslims have stated that they want to wipe Israel off of the face of the Earth, Christians and Athiests clash in the streets all of the time over issues like abortion, homosexuality, and other things. Muslims are hated by many people because of how they are portrayed in the media. How does that not lead one to believe that we are going to war?

First of all, Christians and atheists seem to be coexisting for the most part just fine in a secular world, especially in Europe. The Jerry Falwell crowd, while large will not be IMO large enough to make US into a fundamentalist state because most Christians themselves wouldn't want such a thing.
As for Muslims vs. the west, I believe we are headed for a cold war of sorts in which the iron curtain against the Islamist states will only grow tighter (note I did NOT say Islamic states). Sure, our defenses might slip and we might even have an attack with hundreds of thousands of casualties, but overall the western civilization won't come to an end because of this. Radical Islamism simply does not have the firepower to declare a direct state-on-state war on the west (it's IMO much less of a danger than communism was). It will after a while most likely go by the way of communism, when people realize that "the ideal Islamic state" is not a haven of justice, progress and morality and get sick and tired of it.

All these wars are due to the lust of men for more power, wealth & prestige.
And above all it is because of their bigotry.
Many in the west are just plain ignorant and swallow all the junks their media give them. They don’t know about the culture, religion and way of life of non European people.
The Christian west is responsible for most of today wars.
And they dare place the blame on Islam.
Muslims around the world just want to live in peace as they like and not as the western wants them. It here that all the troubles begin.

I seriously doubt it, most people in my experience aren't religious enough to fight over it. They got enough other issues to worry about in life, then fight with some total stranger about the unprovable.
