No. Ever heard of evidence?

I've read the Koran. And I see the "no change" aspect as a fault. Nobody in the modern world should have to control one other based on an ancient, barbaric, and unchanging ideology. That goes for any religious text.

The Koran still promises non-believers eternal hellfire where their old skin will be replaced with a new skin (for more burning). What part of ancient violence and prejudice against non-believers should be acceptable? I'd say none.

The majority of religious violence today is caused by extreme men and women who claim to follow the rules of Islam. They may not represent the majority, but they take their hatred from the Koran.

Hardly. It proves that no new thinking has appeared in the area for 1400 years.

Quran hasnt changed in the last 1400 yrs....agreed! BUT WHAT IS THE PROOF THAT IT WAS NOT CHANGED IN THE 1ST 100-150 YEARS AFTER IT WAS FIRST REVEALED?

Propher Mohammad (pBUH) started to receive revelations at the age of 40 (610 AD) , which continued almost till his death in 622 AD. And as Mohammad is illiterate, almost all of revelations were mostly "memorized" by his companions. There were very few instances when his companions( Sahaba) started recording some verses on stones, parchment, etc bfore mohammad died.. And even if some verses were written during his life time, they donot make up for majority of the remaining verses that were just "memorized" by his companions. So, by the time Mohammad died, the actual revelations were either "memorized" by some or remained as pvt possession of some. No one had the complete standardized version of quran tht muslims have today.

It was only in 633 AD, after the death of 700 muslims who have memorized quran (in the 1st war of Yamama), that the 1st caliph Abu Bakr panicked & tried to make a standard written copy of quran. The task of collecting the Quranic verses from all over Arabia was given to Zayd ibn Thabit, Muhammad's primary scribe.

Zayd finally accepted the task and, according to him, "started locating the Quranic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leafstalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart)". And finally, all this was checked by other ppl like the 1st caliph Abu Bakr himself & Umar who "supposedly memorized" the quran.

So, what does this say? THERE IS HELL LOT OF HUMAN INTERFERENCE IN THE PREPARATION OF QURAN (THAT WE have TODAY) AFTER MOHAMMAD'S DEATH.Also ppl shouldnot forget tht, it was the time, when the islamic caliphate started to expand through wars. What is the proof that these guys (1st Caliph Abu Bakr & 2nd Caliph Umar, who proofread the final collected verses of quran) didnot alter the original revelations to suit their own interests? Even if they didnot alter the original verses, wht is the proof that they collected all the verses from all the stones, parchments, memories of ppl ,etc spread all over Arabia?

The fact that there exists no evidence of complete copies of the Qur'an from within the century in which it was claimed to have been compiled and since prior to 750 A.D. (thus for 100 years after Muhammad's death) there exists no verifiable Islamic documents to corroborate the origins of the Qur’an. Even the oldest known fragments of Quran (which were found in Syria) only date back to 640-690 AD, long time after the death of Prophet Mohammad.

Keeping aside the ridiculous idea that God suddenly starts revealing his message magically to a "single" person instead of letting the whole humanity know abt it, it would be better if muslims start reading abt the early history of quran (which had numerous human interferences as stated as above) instead of bragging that it is unchanged for the last 1400 yrs.And so, it would be also better if they realize that as every other religion, Islam has its own drawbacks.

Let us see, Mohammed didn't actually write any of it - and so it rests upon the accuracy of his followers - and I personally think it's been screwed up - like with Christianity - because what they teach - does not measure up.
All the major religions suffer the same problems - the guy who started it all, didn't write the teachings down, nor did they start up their religion - their followers did --- meaning they could still have messed up, and wrong interpreted what they were suppose to teach, etc etc.

You can look at the aftermath of their religion - and ask yourself - did they bring peace and harmony to the region? Or did they only bring death and destruction?

The success is in the quality of the teachings they give us.
If we have just a bunch of crap - of mumbo jumbo madness (stupid commandments with stupid teachings) - then they failed us.

neither have the words written down by Ancient Egyptians three thousand years ago...Should we all become Kemetic Orthodox?

And the earth is even older, why not worship that? Or the sun, or the stars? hey, not a bad idea!

Worship the Divine wherever you find it, in holy writings, in the rich soil, in the warm sunlight, in your heart of hearts.

No. The words may not have changed but what the words say, mean, and teach, are still false. Word changing or not, doesn't make something that is false remain or become true. False is false no matter how you slice it.

Quran itself is a perfect proof but for the believers. Every word and sentence of Quran is a miracle in itself.

A mistake that lasts 1400 years is still a mistake.

Any religion that does not properly recognise Jesus as the son of God cannot be right. regardless of its age.

Tanach hasn't changed in 2200 years... the Jews got ya, buddy.

There's trees here in California that have been alive for over 3000 years... should the American Indians who worshiped the tree spirits here trump Islam, too?
