Ok previously I asked a question about scripture regarding mary being born without sin (I will post later). I got an answer from a muslim (will not expose name). He showed me the message in the quran that shows where mary is born. Basicly the story is exactly the same as when an angel came to mary to tell her that she was about to have a child (Jesus). Ok so now basicly this guy said mary was born without sin, ok? So in order for Jesus to be born without sin mary needed to be born without sin, that is there theory on this I am not agreeing with it. So right there in there quran they are saying mary was born without sin. Why did this need to happen if Jesus was just a prophet, muslims? To me that is telling me that you believe Jesus came to pay for our sins. Your own "scripture" was just used to prove your faith to be wrong? How does it feel? If I am wrong in anyway, maybe not understanding, I will admit it.
About to post the things I am talking about...............................

I have never read the quran but if this is true it is very interesting. The bible says nothing about Mary being sinless, if fact it says that she was an ordinary girl which means she had sinned. I would be interested to see what a Muslim had to say on this and also if it really is true.

The idea that Mary was born without sin (as well as the idea that she remained a virgin after giving birth to Jesus) was part of the Catholic Church's attempt in the 4th century to allow new converts to continue their pagan beliefs by "Christianizing" them. Since Mary was the only logical candidate to be the Christianized version of the pagan "Queen of Heaven" or "Goddess". These doctrines were decreed by church councils of that era. The simple truth is that they appear nowhere in the Bible. According to the Bible, the only person who was born without a sinful nature was Jesus.

Well, Muslims don't believe in the original sin. So, not only Mary but every human is born without any sin as the Muslim believe is.
Jesus never claimed to be GOD. never once he said - "I'm GOD, worship me". All these are lies attributed to Jesus by early writers and the worst of them was Paul. Remember, Jesus was not there to clarify and check everything which was written abt him.

Muslim theologians tend to accept that Jesus didn't have a human father (just like Adam). If Muslims argue that Mary had to be born without sin it is not to imply that Jesus is God. Jesus is accepted only as an important prophet.

All prophets were humans and all had mothers to be born.Mother of Jesus an human too. That is the proof that Jesus is human. His mother is a pure and clean woman of Islam same as mother of prophet Moses. You Christians have false belief about Jesus as He is a son of God.But you accept also that His mother is an human. If Jesus is a God how come His mother is human?

The truth is revealed by the Holy Spirit, the one who Yeshua said would come after Him. and they will never know as long as their minds, ears and hearts are closed to the message.
Our job is to pray for all unbelievers that by the power of the Holy Spirit they will come to know and believe that Jesus is the Christ, that He is the I AM that always was, and is and will be.
Shalom sister. i will pray for you that the Spirit of Truth guide you, and protect you from deception, may you be filled with the gift of discernment and always walk in His spirit and his truth. Amen and Amen

No I didn't know that but then I don't care for their religion.
So this book of theirs is irrelevant to me. I've checked out so many claims to the way and the truth by men, women, new age, occultism, scientology and a slew of others that I've despaired until the reading and study of the Bible. God's revelation to us.
After that everything else I've found has failed me but God and His inspired word. I don't want to be wasting my time with something like the books of islam. They all fall short of the true mission of the Christ, they all fall short of the New Testament. I am only going to find failure and disappointment in them.

Well, God is the Almighty, he has Given powers to Jesus, by making the dead alive and curing the lepers and other miracles, do u agree? it is stated in bible and so in Quran. Who gave Jesus these powers? God! God revealed in the Quran that the archangel Gabriel is the one who blew the spirit of Jesus into Maryam and made her pregnant. God is the Most Powerful, if he can make Jesus perform miracles, why cant he perform another miracle of creation of Jesus. Prophet's are chaste as they are to be Men's teacher's and God's Messenger. God created this whole universe, if you agree, then why cant u agree a small miracle like the creation of Jesus with his power through Mary, who is a chaste woman. Will an unchaste woman bore a prophet? use your common sense please? I dont know what to say. i pity Tariq who took the trouble to explain to someone like u. Jesus was not born to pay for our sins, every soul shall be judged by God according to their own sins or goodness, Jesus was just a Messenger of God, telling humans to worship God and be good and chaste in this world.

More rudimentary... how could Jesus, who claimed to be God incarnate (John 8:58), possibly be a 'great prophet'? He claimed to be GOD! This is not the mark of a prophet and teacher, but of a liar and a madman (unless of course he was in fact God incarnate).
And don't try to throw Koran passages at this argument, because Mohammad was not there and John (Jesus' best friend) was.
