tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic agent used in the prevention of heavy bleeding such as heavy periods, nose bleeds and the prevention of bleeding during tooth extraction in haemophiliacs (people who lack a clotting factor).

Mefenamic acid is a non-sterioidal anti-inflammatory drug. (same class as ibuprofen) it is used for inflammation in arthritis and frequently in treating women with mestrual pain. It is sold as Dysman; Ponstan; Ponstan Forte.

This combination of medications would seem to be for a woman with dysmenorrhea due to heavy menstruation

MEFENAMIC TABLETS are pain-killers
I used them when I get really bad menstrual cramps or when I have a toothache. Although it gives temporary pain relief so if the pain is untolerable then its better to consult a doctor

i dont know about the first one.
mefenamic acids are basically pain killers. you can use them for migraines or body pains. i use lots of mefenamic acids due to my migraine but you need to be careful about taking these kind of meds coz it can cause ulcer. so before taking one be sure you have something in your stomach.
