what is the best way to get a mole removed without surgery?

what about those over the counter balms like: DermaTend or MolesNoMore, or any other brand? Has anyone used one of this treatments? Which one works? And how long does it take? Any scarring?

a mole needs removing surgically as if you mess with them they can and often do become malignant

Moles can be removed by freezing or burning just like warts.
