True religion is the source of love and agreement amongst men, the cause of the development of praiseworthy qualities; but the people are holding to the counterfeit and imitation, negligent of the reality which unifies; so they are bereft and deprived of the radiance of religion.

The essential principle of true religion is the oneness of humanity. True religion is the foundation of spiritual union, the union of thought, the union of susceptibilities, the unity of customs and the ideal chain binding together all the children of men. True religion is the basis of divine civilization and the unbreakable tie which binds the hearts together, is the tie of true religion. The counterfeit or imitation of true religion has adulterated human belief and the foundations have been lost sight of.

So what does the kingdom of God have to do with religion and knowing the
bible as disciples, were called christians, what is wrong with bible student?

Basics of true religion lie in the fact that any true religion will lead an adherent to the path of liberation of spirit/soul with an ultimate aim to merge the soul with GOD. If a religion has any other aim than it is not true.

What is true religion? In my understanding of your question it would mean your own understanding of the world, your own religion, developed by yourself from personal experiences, and not blindly following another religion.

All i can tell you is the basis of my religion which is the eternal quest for truth. This is why I get up every morning.

Do you know why you get up every morning?
To earn money I guess, but why? for a car, to impress the ladies? why? for happiness, yeh? Is this the only reason why you get out of bed every morning? or is there something else you strive for? figuring out why your here, whats the point in life maybe? This is the quest for truth.

To define the True Religion, you have to know first the meaning of religion.

Religion expresses the main life style you are living. You can say, the way of your life and the mean of (why we came?, where we will go?)

True religion discusses the true way of life which makes the accurate balance between all living organisms.

Then How can you get this true path?

Of course you need for a guide. When you was young old, you needed to people to learn you their expertise in life.

According to the source of experience, you will go on........

There is One Only Who knows the secrets of life and the true way through it, becuase He is the creator of it.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la is the Graet and Only Creator of the whole universe, beacuase this he knows all things that may you think about.

[14] Should He not know, He that created? And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-

Allah did not leave us, He sent us prophets and messengers to learn us the true life.

The True Religion is the religion that say "There is no God but Allah", you have to only worship Him.

Islam says "There is no God but Allah". Also Islam is deep believing in all other prophets and messengers (Isa and Mousa..... Peace be upon them), plus their scriptures (SCRIPTURES THAT WERE REVEALED FROM ALLAH ONLY).

After human beleive in One God (Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la), He has to make a tight and bouncing relation with his Creator Allah. This relation can be given by all of worshipping forms in Islam - He must know well that his guide is Allah, and Allah Who gives (all) Sustenance

[15] It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection.

[58] For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance, - Lord of Power - steadfast (forever).

Living oneself happily and letting all others live happily irrespective of their religion ,caste community etc.

Loving all and hating none (if one can not love . at least let one not hate any one).

Helping neighbours,and all that are in need to the extent one can.

respecting all women like ones sisters or mother.

Loving nature and not disturbing the ecological balance.
