Here we go again. If we agree, we are robots. If we don't agree, we are never in agreement. We just can't win! lol

Christians are sinners, no matter what some of them tell you. We are what the Bible calls ' New Creatures' , in that we have this eternal Spirit living in us ( God ) and we have a sin nature which is also in everyone else. So DON'T look at us to be too much like Christ, we are NOT Christ. God looks at us like Christ because His promises tell of the 'washing' that we will receive when this life is over. Gandhi didn't understand everything about Christianity. That's why he got things a little mixed up. And if he did understand Christianity, he would have dropped all the other claims about himself and became a Christian , worshiping the One God through Jesus Christ. So Gandhi wasn't the spiritual expert and 'enlightened one' that people make him out to be.

because of the fact Christ became ideal. Christians are not ideal, they're only forgiven. Btw, no person would denounce their faith because of the fact of a few intense undesirable apples contained in the gang. once you're a real Christian then why do you're saying you're ill of the the idiots who attempt to tension their ideals down your throat? do no longer you share a similar ideals? the place does it fluctuate? Christians be attentive to that everyone unrepented sinners would be judged and despatched to Hell. it extremely is a actuality, the Bible says so. in case you're taking difficulty with this, then you definately are no longer a real Christian. considering that actuality shouldn't hardship you or make you sense shielding in case you extremely have faith it.

Christianity as we know it is based mainly on the writings and teachings of Paul who claimed he was Jesus' 13rd Apostle (that honor actually went to Matthias who replaced Judas Iscariot). What Paul wrote did not agree with what Jesus taught but since it was chosen as part of the Bible we have today, Christians follow and believe everything he said.

If Christianity was based on Jesus' actual teachings, it would probably be alot different from what it is now. Then again, it might turn out the same, given the history of followers it has.

This is only someone's opinion of what Jesus might be like. But if they really knew Jesus, they would see a different man than most think. To be Christ like, is not to be wimpy. Jesus was a strong and brave. He stood up for the truth. He did not back down, What makes us like Jesus, is to have the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, live in us.

Sad isn't it. Those who claim to represent Christ act in such non Christ like ways. Obviously to do so is blaspheme against the Spirit but they do much damage while they live.

Perhaps they should consider what the Spirit said in the third commandment. To take a name is to call yourself a member of a family. To do so and then behave shamefully is to shame the name.

And the Lord will not hold him guiltless who taketh his name in vain.

i don't think British conquest of India had anything to do with Christianity or any religion for that matter.

In any case, Christians are generally well behaved but some of them tend to edge on extremism, just like some Hindu Nationalists I think.

You make a very sound point ~ the reason is that no man is faultless. Gandhi was a great man.
