Why do you keep answering the questions of atheists who can't accept someone else's point of view? What's the point of getting into a debate with people who you can see by their questions are so full of it they won't listen to anyone else?

Don't you people have anything else better to do than trying to convert people?
I mean, if they don't want to be converted, then whatever. Who cares if they believe in jesus or not!
Who knows...maybe they are right and christians are wrong or something.
In fact, maybe the greeks were right, or Hinduism is right....who are we to say what people should believe in? Just because it's written in a book? Then hell, I can go and say that Karl Marx is the truth and the way!

What did Jesus do?

He preached to the Jews for 3 1/2 years and at the end of that time, had only 120 true converts. Yet thousands listened to him. He and his apostles and disciples knocked on doors.
(Acts 5:42) And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house.

What was jesus preaching that was different from what his OWN FATHER set up with the Jews, 1500 years before...?

Answer ; (Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

The Jews for those 1500 years tried to comply with the 600 rules of the "LAW"
They knew nothing of the "Kingdom"

The Kingdom is the same one we all pray for, perhaps without realising it.

(Matthew 6:9-10) “YOU must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.

God used Jesus to help change His system...for our benenfit.

When I do, I answer typically for those who are seeking God. They look at those questions just to see how a Christian might answer. I rarely answer an Atheist's question for the Atheist. I answer them in case the seeker is looking for answers. Most of them I just ignore, they usually are just stupid questions that are not to be taken seriously. I do lean upon the Holy Spirit in order to know the difference.

It is not always for them but sometimes the people who read it and want to see if there is a reasonable Christian response to the criticism. Who knows if that answer might plant a seed in someone who is searching for answers that is only knowable to God and so we answer the questions. It would really help if Christians did not launch into inanities if they do not have a real answer. Responses like you are going to Hell and calling people pagans does not help what we need to do as believers fulfilling the great commission.

Is it not possible that a christian may just give an answer that an atheist or non christian may find interesting and follow it up and just maybe convert ?
Would you like to take away that chance ?

I sit next to an athiest kid in school. I just answer his questions the best I can and he makes fun of me. He knows what I believe and seems to have a problem with it, but one day, he'll find out the truth. (Sad to say).

Veronika - can you accept the athiest point of view? No? Isn't your question a bit hypocritical then?

I belive our job on earth is to spread God's word. If I can do that by posting messages on this site then I will. It doesn't mean that it will necissarily make a difference but if one post is read by one person who decides to follow God then I will be overwhelmed with joy. God bless you.

You are a cynic. And unfortunately Im becoming to come around to your opinion.

Ive talked with a few of them in email and to no avail. They are here to release their frustration and hatred toward God and his people and dont care to learn anything about God or consider the possibilties. And when the facts dont align with their argument, then comes the venom.
