Jesus said He came not to bring peace, but a sword. He said he would set brother against father and daughter against mother. He told the Old Testament Pharisees that their sins were "unforgivable." Don't buy into the leftist nonsense that Jesus was a peace freak who wore beads and smoked dope.

They are one in the same. Read Revelations and see who comes riding in on a white horse with a sword from his mouth to finish the fight. Christ also says that he comes not to bring peace but a sword. Also in the Old Testament read the Psalms and then tell me that you do not believe God is love.

If only religious people would study the History of Religion, they would have greater understanding of how our belief in God developed. In the second and third Centuries there were Christian religions that believed in from 1 to 365 different Gods. Any religion will only give you a view that serves their agenda.

That's one of the bog lies out there in the world. The God you find in the Old Testament, is the very same God that you find in the New Testament, people just don't know God and neither do they study the Bible to know it.

God of the Old Testament:
Exodus 13
13 "In your unfailing love you will lead
the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.

The God of the New Testament:
Matthew 11
20 Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. 21 "Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths. If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. 24 But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."

Just study it better.
