I have heard that when using contact lenses dark circles will tend to form under your eyes, is there anyway to avoid/treat this?

I have not heard that contact lenses cause dark circles.

I've heard that poor diets, lack of adequate sleep, lack of vitamins, allergies and illness can cause dark circles.

As for treating it ... ask your doctor if they can determine a cause. For me, it's allergies, so I was put on an allergy medication and they went away. You can cover the dark circles with a yellow-based concealer under the eyes. You can also lay a cold, wet cloth across your eyes for 15 minutes every day. After about a week, you'll notice that the circles aren't as dark. It takes a while, but helps.
