I've been friends with this girl for about 3 month or so. We message each other all the time, also chat on MSN and often she ring me on the mobile or I ring her.
She asked me to hang out with her a lot, like go to dancing, MacDonalds, picnics, to the movies and ice-cream. And we do stuff like that a lot.
Once when we were out having Ice-cream I asked her what she thinks if we called it a date, and she replied that we are just hanging out but not a date. After that she still asks me to hang out with her, but never a date.
What is with her? Do all girls do that? Ask guys out to hang out but not dating?

Either she's interested or she just sees you just as a friend, that "nice guy." Pay attention more to see how her body language and what she says to find out really where her heart is. Or one of these nights when you hang out, you can ask her how she feels or if she's interested in anyone.

Well looks like she's looking more for a "girlfriend" to hang out with, then a boyfriend here. Sorry to call this one. Maybe try hugging her more, or holding her hand at the movies, giving her more physical attention. Letting her know your interested might help her get the hint. If she still gets no where...give up and move on.

Uh oh....You might be stuck in the "friend zone". Thats not a good place to be because its nearly impossible to get out of. Women enjoy having male friends to just hang out around. Because they get relief from evil catty girls. And they can understand the opposite sex better. They can also flirt without any repercussions. So even if you two flirt all the time she might just consider you two as just friends while your thinking something bigger......

Believe it or not girls like male companions just as much as female companions. I met a guy online and thought he was so funny. We would go to the movies and out to eat, just like friends but I never led him to believe it was a date. I guess he got the wrong impression and leaned in for a kiss which completely freaked me out and I had to let him know I wasn't attracted to him that way. Well, I guess he wasn't to happy with that and he never called me back.

Maybe she really just treat u as a friend...
Or maybe she is one of the girls who are not straight forward...They tend to show some signs of liking u but when u ask them a straight yes or no question...They will most prbably say NO or maybe beat around the bush

Every girl is different. Have you ever heard of the expression "try it before you buy it"? Though that expression normally refers to sex, I think that it would also apply to this situation too. Maybe she is taking baby steps & wants to make sure that you are the one.

she might have a boyfriend and if she does and when they break up then ask her out for a date or if she's single
