Is it just me or is believing in God completely looney? But yet they look at non believers like we are crazy. Wow I think they are definitely mental.

Yes, they are,... being an Atheist , i find life much for satisfying living my own way and not following cultures that think that a supposedly magical being created the entire universe and all mankind,,phhhf...

If that is true then why is there no date in the bible?...and why is there no evidential proof that Jesus ever walked the earth? and why why why, is it that when every new addition of the bible comes out, theres always somthing in there that was never in there before?....i sometimes feel bad for religious peoples, praying to, and worshiping a magical man in the sky that does not even exist....in all i agree with you,, they are all looneys.....

Mr. Jones,
I'm Christian. I take offense to your statement because you blanketed me in with an entire group and then dissed me.

I do not force my belief in God down anyone's throat, I don't preach to those who don't want it, and I don't go around trying to convert people who are obviously not ready, or never will be.

But, for you, I make the exception. Believing in God might be looney to you, but, give me a better theory. Like, how about this one, for no cause what so ever a big ball of nothing exploded and became everything? Where did that ball of nothing start?

Of course many say "where did God come from", which is ok by me, but if one is looney the other is just as looney... Don't ya think?

Yes, I am a brainwashed loon. Thank you for noticing. I am brainwashed into the love of God, and would want the same for anyone.

It's something like this:
20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
( 1 Corinthians 1 )

Thanks for noticing. You made my day! ( ;

That's one theory...

Dangerous question to be asking a level 1... comes frighteningly close to a violation. I won't report you since I don't care, but some of the brainwashed loons here would love to get you suspended (probably again).

Personally I'm Agnostic, but I've met several religious people who are definitely not "looney" they are rational, logical people. some people few religion and science as two different entities all together.

I think it really is just you. Believing in God is the least looney thing a person could do.

Grrr. This annoys me.

Crazy or delusional refers to something that is intrinsically wrong with someone's head.

Clearly, religion is taught.

Therefore one could say that the social structure was based on irrational things, but not that the people involved were crazy.

Sheesh.

we believers dont look at non-believers crazy nor loony.but we are always passionate of them being religious and believe that there is a supreme being.what life would be meaningful without something controlling us for our good and that which has a long term purpose for us.
we fear a none-believers society more than non-believer"s comment.

I refuse to live in a world like this and NOT believe that something greater than myself has a meaning for all of this.

Yup.

That's certainly true of a sizable portion of the Christian sect, but in all fairness, most of them are quite harmless and pretty cogent.
