I stayed up till 1 o'clock am and go to sleep. Beforehand I had a little dark chocolate I haven't had in awhile. It felt like I slept for hours then I hear my jimmy buffet playing (helps me sleep) sound becomes infrared. Then I hear a syphoning sound for one minute, I prayed like "God jesus whats going on, help me, please O'god!" And it went away, I have been closer to my faith lately, reading the bible, praying, you know. I am a prodastant.

I don't think it had anything to do with the Lord- could it be something was in your chocolate? Many pranksters inject halloween candy with small amounts of drugs- you may have gotten ahold of some tainted candy. Thank the Lord that's all that happened.

Only you can know what truly happened. If you belive that you had a divine experience, trust your instinct and thank God. If not, there are a lot of other possibilities. If it happens often and you are worried you could see a docter but I don't think that is necissary. Trust God to reveal to you what happened. Keep on praying, reading God's word and God will be there for you always. God bless you.

It's called falling asleep. Your mind and body were slipping into a hypnogogic state. God doesn't have anything to do with it. How does 'sound become infrared' anyway? That doesn't make any sense.

You know what, the witching hour is 3 AM, a conversion of the 3pm death of CHRIST. For the past year, i had this inclination to wake up at 3 am, this happened when i slept in my room and while i was half awake, somebody grabbed my hair from behind and tried to stab me with a very pointy object (at that time, i envisioned a long, sharp nails). I was going to shout to call my sister who was sleeping in the upper bunk but i could not utter a single sound. I prayed to God and asked for HIS intervention, little by little the sharp object subsided from my back.
I am a CHRISTIAN, my forefathers and up until now, the fmaily goes to the same church and i go to church as well, quite active you might say in the Service for GOD. BUt this incidient, i culd not understand.
In the morning, i called the family together and narrated my ordeal, nobody paid attention, they said, it was just a dream, i wasn't awake.
A week since the incident, i started waking up exactly 3 am, i just woke up in the middle of the night and i looked at my cell phone's time, exactly 3am.
One time, i woke up because my cellphone beeped, two messages came in. I was surprised to see that somebody actually sent me an SMS at 3 AM, as i checked the message details options, the messgae was sent at around 1145 PM, so why did it beeped at 3 AM?
For the remaining days, i woke up at 3 AM and i started praying hard to GOD, harder than i used to... I prayed that i will have a good night's sleep.
Eventually, it never happened again, i really don't understand the test given to me, but its a great relief to know that SOMEONE actually carries all the burden for it all.

I'm not sure exactly what happened. Perhaps sleep paralysis. A sleep study can confirm or rule that out.
If you have been closer to the Lord...yes, that makes the evil one angry but it doesn't sound to me like any sort of demonic haunting or anything like that.

I have a friend and when he got closer to god he saw weird stuff like demons. I dont think they like that your getting closer to god. I wish you the best.
