I just had two 5 1/4 infinity speakers installed in both car doors at best buy yesterday. As I got home from work today I rolled up the drivers side window(electric) and at the same time my new drivers side speaker went dead. My car is a '84 bmw and if any of you car audio geniuses could give me some kind of idea what happened you'll forever be the man in my book.

the wires got tangled in the window mechanism. This happens occasionally.
Take it back to them and they will fix it for you.

Your wndow caght the speaker wire and pulled it loose,you might try takeing the inside door panel off and track the speaker wire so you can redo it with black electricl tape.
If you dont want to do t just stop by a radio repair shop in your aera you can google radio repair shops in your aera.

Best Buy warranties all their labor for as long as you own your car, so go to your nearest Best Buy and have them fix it.
