Today i was on the 405 south going to school and then a lady from New Jersey, [i saw from her plates] was on the middle lane. she was going 5 miles per hour while the traffic was going 25 mph. she was behind me and moved to the front of my car. she was putting on eye makeup. i like makeup as much as the next girl but come on; there were NO COPs to pull her over and tell her that that was wrong.

Do you think rules should be passed to make CA highways better for everyone with more police makeing sure people are driving and not putting on makeup, [or reading a newspaper, yeah i saw that guy too]

what is the weirdest thing someone did int he freeway that you saw them doing. do you ever do that?

for the person who asked how she cut me. I ll tell you. She had no problem speeding up to get to the lane i was in and then continue with her makeup. this is NOT a made up story. unfortunately you WILL NEVER BELIEVE ME BECAUSE It DIDNT happen to you. that is what is wrong with the internet.

I think there should be police patrolling the freeways in every state. But the problem is there is not enough money for that. So we just have to watch all of the idiots on the road and if they are too dangerous just call 911 and report them and what the are doing. Make sure to get the license plate number.

Sherriffs paintings for the county (they're elected) Police paintings for the city (they're employed by the city and paintings for the govt of Police) street Patrol works for the state (The are assigned to an positioned up and that they paintings for the positioned up Commander) All 3 are qualified Peace officers and could attend state mandated practise classes.

SHE was going five miles an hour and STILL managed to pass you and pull in front?

How slow were YOU going while the rest of the traffic was doing twenty five?

This was a poorly made-up story and, entirely unconvincing. However, in the spirit of giving reasonable answers to some serious concerns, I will offer this:

Of COURSE it would be nice to see more officers on the street to enforce our safety. I'll bet EVERY government adminstrator wishes that would happen. The problem is, WHO pays for it? From where does the money come to pay the officers' salaries? It comes from taxes, and, who pays these taxes? YOU and other drivers like you who use the road.

Next time your registration fees increase, and you local sales taxes get a bump, and when your state income tax becomes do, THINK about this before you complain. Write the check, send it in, and THEN write your state legislators and TELL them you'd like to see more of your tax money spent on law enforcement.

It is that simple.
