I just recently became involved with EMS, and i bought trauma shears from a certain website, but i won't name it... the ones i got were low quality, very loose (the blades aren't close together, they're really flimsy) so i called them and they replaced them, and now the same thing is happening with the new pair...i did NOT cut through pennies with them...just some jeans and once cardboard, so i'm looking for a website to buy good, tough trauma shears from. do you know any good ones? like ones that don't get loose? is galls a good website for them?

I find them at the dollar store and buy 3 or 4 pair. when they get loose or dull I throw them away. Why pay $15 to $20 for the same thing.
Or if you want to pay lots of money for them I like Galls and Dixie USA

Try Dixie USA medical. I get my shears from them and have not got any bad ones so far. They also have a notch in the blades you can use as a O2 wrench as well. Lots of colors to choose from as well

What befell, befell. It changed into incorrect to photo you, yet you've been in an emergency problem! as long as no one is taking a photo of your face jointly which includes your body, who really cares? no one will keep in mind that the picture is of you. in case you keep in mind that a photo or video of you bare is being printed on the internet or another public position, then you actually have accurate to sue the guy for damages. i imagine you've been traumatized because the images were taken once you've been in a stressful problem, and the thoughts you felt about your actual probability and vulnerability are being transferred on your thoughts about the images. I also imagine that in case you've been in a actual existence or lack of life problem, you'll not care who took your photo. What befell changed into incorrect, in spite of the indisputable fact that the in easy words lasting harm looks due on your no longer letting bypass of the trauma of being so weak.

Wescott are good, but almost all trauma shears are stamped, so buy a couple of pair, and when they get loose, hammer the rivet some, but not too much or they won't work.

Galls is a great site for most of your EMS supplies. That's pretty much the only place I shopped for things.

Forget the websites- you can't see what you're getting. Go to a uniform specialty shop that has everything you need for medics, nurses, etc, that's where I bought my daughter's shears --she's a nurse.

Like Mac said, go in person and forget the internet junk. Galls is fine, but in person you know what you're getting.

Go to the reception desk at any hospital and disclose your problem.. She'll run it down for you, in between her other duties.
