Well, I was raised Catholic, and like Catholicism (Just because all of the rituals, and how steeped in history it is, I'll always like it) but lately, I've felt that you don't need a book, nor an institution to tell you how to not only believe, but how to behave.
In fact, I just believe that there is something out there, and in the Catholic Saints...but ultimately, religion is up to you to discover it, not have someone tell you.
Would that be agnostic?
Because I also believe that nature is the truth, the only truth...I dunno. I just don't believe in how people (Especially the Fundies) use religion to **** everyone over.

I was raised as a Church of England child, but it never made sense to me either. I have discovered that my thoughts and beliefs such the love of nature and other things that have happened to me have put me on the Path of Celtic Wiccan. This is a religion which worships a Goddess which is known by lots of names but predominately Mother Nature or the Moon Goddess.
My mother always use to tell me that God was all around us but I could never feel him, my prayers seem to fall on death ears. Don't get me wrong I did not ask him for stupid stuff and I did not expect him to answer them but I did expect to feel him around me which never happened. I prayer to the Goddess now and can feel her around me in everything I do. I believe that there is a higher being, but not just one.
The Catholic church infiltrated the pagan religions naming saints after pagan god and goddess to make the people of the lands they took over feel more relaxed at being converted.
I seemed to have rambled a bit but I hope that this may give you another look at what is out there. You are and individual and you will choose what is right for you when the appropriate time comes.

Ok your close Jesus is real and alive and you need his Holy spirit and his word daily, but your are totally correct on the Catholic religion and all the traditions of man and ritual, a sure sign of deception Jesus would say, he said all these traditions make his word void, they take the power of God from you and get you doing rituals that are meaning less to drain your time, BUT Jesus can and will come into you right there right now and then you start to read the Bible on your own and you will find Your Savior Jesus and know whats really going on, start in John and read to the end. start here;

God revealed himself to man through the prophets, but most perfectly and fully through his only-beloved son, our LORD Jesus Christ. Jesus established his ROman Catholic (Universal) Church 2000 years ago with Peter as the first Pope and sent us the Holy Spirit in order to guide its teachings from error. You can be assured by Christ in the Holy Spirit that the Catholic Church is divinely inspired and guided. God bless you!

More deistic. Agnostics don't believe in the higher power.

So in essence you hate anyone that takes the Bible seriously. Gotcha.
