I don't like doing any kind of propaganda but I thought it would be interesting to get some opinions about an e-mail I just received.
All of the e-mails I receive are subject to scepticism on my part, you know, the ones that talk about sick children, for example. This one in particular appears authentic and talks about the experience of a Christian minister.
What do you think about his story?
This is the URL: http://www.charityadvantage.com/missiongateministry/AllahorJesus.asp
The story is the first section and it won't take you more than two minutes to read.
Thank you.

Thank you for your opinion about the question, Truthbox. I'm asking your opinion about the story I found, not the question itself.
Read what I ask and then respond. Try not to be so impulsive next time.

Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

I've already read the article before. I too have many head-shaking moments when I listen or read any teachings of Islam. One thing I noticed though, they don't very much like their Koran or Qu'ran being reproached or questioned.
As for me, I'm a Christian and its MY CHOICE. I choose a far more reliable foundation than something I would just have created to justify my earthly needs and desires. I choose to believe in the one true God, the God of the Bible and in His son Jesus Christ. Now if I die and found out there is no God, then I'm ok...but if I found out there really is a God, then I am in a much better position wouldn't I? But somebody already said this and I am just repeating it ;-)

First of all: I wonder just how much of an URBAN LEGEND the "I was at a seminar to update my prison security clearance" story is having read it SO many times over these past few years. Unless, of course, there are a BUNCH of guys attending these seminars all over the place and asking the muslim the same questions...and getting the same responses.
That being said, the real issue is allah or Jesus.
Jesus is the Son of the one true God. He is the path to forgiveness of sin and salvation of the eternal soul (covenant of the New Testament).
When muhammed was inventing islam, he specifically rejected and denied the divine nature of Jesus. In so doing, I believe that he ALSO rejected and denied God Himself. Hence "allah".
Clearly, the choice that I would make (HAVE MADE) *IS* to accept the love and mercy of God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

Nice story - though I would like to ask you if you would believe me that my friend has a time machine to travel into the past?
If you were piqued - your first question would be - who is this friend and can I meet him? give me more details about him.
Similarly, the Imam's name is not mentioned - if the author was so confident about it he would refer it to the one he is accusing. In the absence of this major input - the story does not hold good.
Islam as a matter of fact instructs everyone to acknowledge the work of others if we are benefiting from it.

It's a one sided story brother..Every true Muslims disapprove of what the Imam is saying..Muslims are peace loving people. We respect all other religion in as much as they respect us. and will only result to jihad if our religion and our being as a person is threatened...For me, this is a scripted story and it only shows that who ever wrote this story is trying to promote his religion in a least shameful manner. I feel sorry for this man. You know brother, this is not a convincing fairy tale. Too bad for him.

I think whoever wrote the article is not being truthful.
My experience with Muslims is an endless convoluted litany of excuses to counter any criticism of their religion. The behavior of the imam, as described by the author of that article, is atypical to say the very least. I don't believe it.
"The imam hung his head in shame"? I don't think so. Even *I* would know how to counter the author's argument, and I'm no imam! It's far more probable that the author of this article is a liar. Shame on him.
I hate it when Muslims use frauds and hoaxes to promote and / or support their religion. I hate it even more when I see someone close to my own faith doing it too. We're supposed to be better than that, and not resort to lying to defend or elevate our position.

initially Please observe that Jesus [peace be on him] isn't a author yet Himself created. For the checklist permit this is prevalent that there is not any longer a single element in this universe that jesus [pbuh]stated and mentioned I created This.!!! Almighty Allah stands in want of no one or element.yet he created us ,human beings even inspite of the indisputable fact that he knew how ungrateful we'd be !!! God Creates as he wills.and desires no longer permission and advice from all and sundry !!!He the Almighty Created Angels from easy who have been Created lots till now than the Human Race.those Angels have been Created to Worshipp Him and serve Him.they're assigned duties and Fuillfill their duties to the letter. The all efficient author Creates as he wills as his signs and symptoms for us to have self assurance in him,why then could he have created the full Universe !!! The introduction Of Angels is a factor of the perception interior the Unseen. As we've self assurance in Almighty God so additionally we could desire to constantly have self assurance interior the Unseen creations like Angels,Jinn,Heaven,Hell, day of Judgment and so on which Almighty God tells us in his Holy Scriptures as part of his introduction. Angels have been Assigned particular duties,For eg.The powerful Angel Gabrial is assigned to hold Revelations to the Prophets and help them.he's the bypass between God and His appointed messengers.Angel Israfil has the TRumpet to his Lips and could blow the Trumpet on the day of Judgment.Angels have been assigned to reason rain, each and every Human has been assigned 2 angels who Writes our deeds.Angels have been assigned to guard us from the Evils of the devil,The Angel of demise is in value of removing the souls from our physique on the time of demise,Angels have been assigned to query us in our graves and so on. and so on.this isn't any longer as though Almighty God desires those Angels ,yet God does each and every thing to perfection and The Creations Of Angels is considered in fantastic condition by Almighty Allah and we've self assurance in them as Created beings.

I know some people who live in St. Louis and are very active in the Mission Gate Ministry, and the reputation of that organization (and leadership) is impeccable. So if Rick Mathes, the founder of the organization, said something happened, and is willing to put his name on a document saying it happened (as he did on that website), I am inclined to believe that it did.

this is really sensitive question to asked.. everybody will say that their believe is true.. right??
as a muslim, i would like to say here that he(ALLAH) had never asked us(slave) to kill another people(non-believer) even if the person is on another religion. it even recite on koran that "we shall love our neighbour as our family". but he(ALLAH) did asked us(slave) to kill them(non-believer) if they attempt to kill us(slave) to make our religion(muslim) down or dissapear(we called this JIHAD). like for example they try to attempt a war to kill muslim which consider as terrorist, then we have the right to defend our self to kill that person who wanted to kill us.
you shall read koran, then you'll know everything about MUSLIM..
