It's funny how a lot of people try to copy our OZ lingo and can't pick it up or fully understand exactly what we say. I put a lot of Aussie content on my hi5 channel and ex pats who miss Australia and people who aren't used to our culture love it with a passion. Here is a site that may help in what your looking for. Us Aussies do have a great sence of humor especially when a American tries to talk like we do also come down and visit some time you'll never want to leave OZ once you have been here have a listen to this Australian clip and work it out with the link below . You'll Love it .

You should look for some recordings by the late Frank Hardy. he wrote Power without Glory and The Outcasts of Foolgarah but was well known for the Yarns of Billy Borker which he did on radio. There should be recordings of them, perhaps the ABC shop.
