Someone got offended by my question and decided it was notgood for Y!A audience.
Anyway...

Why would someone get offended for a question about seeing God if you go to heaven?

Personne: If I am an atheist? Would that fact determine my question was not according to YA guidelines? Doesn't sound like an intelligent explanation to me. Maybe to you it makes sense.

It is actually a question about which one could preach a sermon, as it is discussed in the Bible a number of times. "No man can see God and live" Exodus 33:20. "Blest are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8). Isaiah had a vision, which he describes in chapter VI of his book: "In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple." Revelation 1:7 tells us that at the second coming "every eye shall see Him". These are just a few of the verses which come to my head, and if I sat down and studied the subject in more detail, I would doubtless find many more. If that was your question, then I think it would have been more constructive to have offered some sensible discussion than to have reported it.

If I understand your question correctly (I'm not sure that I do): I've been told that a depiction of God by humans is wrong because God is greater than anything you could ever imagine and any depiction we could conceive would not do Him justice. It may also have to do with idolizing an image of Him which is probably wrong too.

I think not. But the question is how can you avoid seeing God? coz according to all the Holy scriptures he resides in every thing.
