Sure. There are Christians I know, including myself, who may belong to one denomination, but aren't afraid of taking suggestions and spiritual cues from other belief systems or denominations. In the same way that there are eclectic Pagans, there are plenty of eclectic Christians, too.

Possibly... I was raised in a Christian family.. My parents never belonged to any one denomination or Church and they never claimed that any one denomination was 'right'. They do, however, believe that the Bible is the written Word of God.... So if there's, say, a spiritual question, they don't honestly give a damn what is popular or what some high up priest says... They only care about what the Bible says. Guess that could seem slightly rigid, but you'd be amazed at how 'ecclectic' they seem to other Christians! As for mixing religions.... I'm sure people who do that believe themselves to be Christian... And who is anyone to tell them different? But, assuming Christianity is true, no one would really know if they're 'saved' in God's eyes except for God. Human opinion doesnt strike me as one that matters in the afterlife...

It depends on your definition of "Christian." If all that makes someone a Christian is a belief in Jesus as Savior, then yes, Christian's can exhibit religious practices borrowed from many sources that are still true to Christianity. If your definition is more rigid, then perhaps not...the more rigid the definition, the less opportunity for eclecticism.

Interesting question!

probably. some with some intelligence who want to test the waters outside the Christian pool, or the ones who are cowards and don't really believe in the Christian dogma but want to hang onto the title of Christian, just in case.

your words describe a ritual practicing believer that forgets the payment was already in full. To honor God and to know that salvation has already been paid for then it is just expressing to God you are willing to show worship of a Lord who is worthy of all praise.

Gee, i hope this truth makes me fabulous

Yeh there are many christians electified by their love of Jesus and there is nothing, no proof, even presence of God against their belief will have not effect on them.
